Oh... WESTERN... OK, add some Winchester rifle or Colt (instead of sword), replace helmet for cowboy-ish hat, add some Mexican-style cloak etc. et voila!

I managed to find a great deal of magazines that were nothing but paper miniatures (mostly historical and WW2), but I believe they are all in Czech. I will have to find them and make sure.

OT - Sorry to all, again. Hi whisper31the most famous Czechoslovak magazine about paper models ( buildings, vehicles, ships, planes, paper soldiers ...) was (and still is) "ABC" magazine. The best period for paper soldiers ( with authors like Toman, Kubela, Petráček ... ) imho was from 1974-75 to 1996-97. All these are historical figures ( only in recent years ABC has not historical figures. For example taken from video games series. But in my opinion they are not exceptional ). Some sheets have figures with front and back art. Other, the majority, no. Often these pages, in the magazine, are called dioramas. But in fact they are properly paper soldiers sheets. I, after years, still looking for some WW2 paper soldiers sheets published between 1993 and 1997.

No thanks needed. All are for You for produce something worth keeping and I like history figures from Permes. Some scans or copys Abc magazines can be find in shareing sites like online hard drive. In Poland we have chomikuj.pl and I find a lot of things there that no longer sale anywhere. Most popular polish magazine with papercrafts are Maly Modelarz but they produce comlicated models mostly military ww1.ww2 and modern. I try build few of them and it was very hard and not fun experiment haha.
