Was thinking of doing an avengers tower but in stone like a castle tower. I don't think I'll get it done as I completely forgot about it. But I might do some medieval banners with the avengers logo and some others that way you could add them to models or figures as you see fit. Should be easy enough if I get to it.

Chucked the old Ronin and started work on another, a combination of several. I thought I was going to steal a helmet from yet another and put on him, but I think I like the wooly hair on this guy  Of course this is all taken from several Ronin warrior woodblock prints from the 1700's and 1800', primarily one from 1823 of one of the famous 47 Ronin EDIT -- at this point I have already pulled in four more Ronin for the back view. This is a bit more difficult than the Japan Hoard |

If there was anything percolating then I'd say let it come in. It doesn't sound like there is, though, so I think wrapping it up is the right thing to do. I'll get on top of the cutfiles ASAP.

Is it time to close this hoard? Sounds good, at least it's not an empty sheet. I plan to finish my May "Fungeon" entry by early next week, which is eminently achievable now that I'm on the downhill side of concert season. |

Remember, items can be included in other hoards, so if you had a good idea that didn't get done, keep working on it and we will throw it into another hoard.
Ronin and his steed would have been good for Japan, but he is medieval. On his steed he has a variety of ancient Chinese weapons: the rapid-fire crossbow, fire arrows and the three-eyed cannon/gun. Between his Samurai training and his super weapons, I felt it would be an acceptable fit for Medieval Superheroes, but he could fit in a number of situations. I am just pointing this out as an example of something that is a carry-over piece.

You know, the Hoards have been going since 2008. In that time there have been times when there was only one submission, and there have been times when there have been none. I think we are on a pretty good roll, and I appreciate all the submissions. If you haven't gone through the old ones for a while, it sometimes helps to have a reminder of all the wonderful things that our members have 'brought to the table'
