“Richard wrote a diary entry in his head.
Dear Diary, he began. On Friday I had a job, a fiancée, a home, and a life that made sense. (Well, as much as any life makes sense). Then I found an injured girl bleeding on the pavement, and I tried to be a Good Samaritan. Now I've got no fiancée, no home, no job, and I'm walking around a couple of hundred feet under the streets of London with the projected life expectancy of a suicidal fruitfly.”― Neil Gaiman, Neverwhere This kitbash served as a main playing piece for an Old World of Darkness chronicle set in London Below, inspired by Neil Gaiman's fantastic novel Neverwhere. It is a recreation of the lost Underground station Aldwych and a three-car Piccadilly Line train. Should you wish to rebuild this, always remember – mind the gap and don't slip through the cracks. You've been warned! The elements used in this kitbash are: The train – repainted subway train from World Works Games Mayhem Rail The walls – TLX walls & posts kitbashed to double height, from World Works Games Under Construction The tracks - from World Works Games Mayhem Rail
The platform, tunnel ends, posters, Underground signs & maps – original soaringraven designs based on real life London Underground features The passengers & creatures – rebased and partially repainted miniatures from Horrorclix, Heroclix, Dreamblade, and architectural models

Outstanding! Were the tracks from Mayhem Rail, also?

Yes, the tracks are from Mayhem Rail, too. I've already edited the original post accordingly. Thanks for asking.

Wow! I keep coming back to look at this great set. Nice use of repurposed Heroclix and train set figures as well. Just wonderful.

Thanks to you all for the praise! We like this set a lot, too, since we're great London fans. The tube, dirty, over-crowded, and time-worn as it is, is still an amazing place. Throw in horrorclix, heroclix, and dreamblade miniatures, stir in a goodly dose of Neil Gaiman, and some Old World of Darkness, and you get a gloomy mix that is very athmospheric. It's a campaign I have very fond memories of and that I'm certain to pick up again sometime in the future.
