Go for it! There are a couple things to remember on Aurochs. And this table shows it well S-shaped back, eel stripe along spine, black males and brown females and calves. The diagram doesn't mention one of the big things -- the size. Males were over 6 feet tall at the shoulder (about 2 meters), which means that they were also long. Females ranged from 5 feet at shoulder to 6 feet. It's no wonder that Julius Caesar wrote about how terrifying it is to be attacked by one.

I'm really liking the Chimera Stalkers I bought all of the Chimera sets, so these additions are quite welcome.

Spanish and Portuguese scientist think the same, but though the shape is similar, in order to breed for aggressive characteristics, they have bred out a lot of the Aurochs traits. I'm still of the opinion that the ones who are cross-breeding based on re-establishing the DNA traits are more correct in their approach. Forward facing horns and eel-stripe along spine were dominant traits, as well as the long head.
I guess people back then aren't that much different than today. Or maybe we are over-printing our ideas onto the historical evidence. All of our modern cattle were derived from these. When they would hunt these beasts, they would take home and raise the babies whose parents were killed, supposedly. As the 'tame' specimens became more in number, they would breed the tamer beefier males to the more docile cows that gave the most milk. Eventually we have all these breeds of today.
I even read that in Poland (if I remember correctly), they would turn the cows out with the wild Aurochs during the winter, to let them forage with their wild kin. Then they would round them up again in the spring.

I won't find the time to do anything. The birthday present for my wife's nephew ate up my time, and two real jobs continue to keep me working. However, the boy got an exclusive and one of a kind print & play SciFi dungeon crawler with rooms in our WNMHGB style, minis from okumarts , a myriad of event, equipment, and mission cards, tons of tokens, and an audio cd that plays atmospheric space music for exactly 1 hour. Premise of the game is to complete a drawn mission within said hour while building the space station as you proceed (using random dice rolls), drawing an event card in every new room, and all the players (1 to 6) working together. So, basically your typical dungeon crawler, only in space. The boy turned 10, and is a total space nerd (actually less SciFi than real astronautics). We did not get to see him, when he unpacked the box, but we were informed that this was one of the "bestest presents ever"... I did most of the printing and building, leaving him only about 50 more rooms to build, so I included a glue stick and a pair of scissors in the box. So, no time for anything else, sorry! But, next year, I promise to deliver some of the larger projects, like the Lunar Modular Transport and other moon base stuff. I also hope to finally finish my Dragon Age RPG chantry. And then there are all those rooms I need for Star Trek Adventures (bridges, engineering rooms, ENT-era stuff, etc.)... I guess, 2019 is going to be really busy...

I really don't have a clue when I will have time to do the test-build on the Isis Temple Pylon, so I think I'm already leaning towards extending this out to Saturday, January 5, 2019

I really don't have a clue when I will have time to do the test-build on the Isis Temple Pylon, so I think I'm already leaning towards extending this out to Saturday, January 5, 2019 I have nothing but time on the 1st so I can close and build this Horde. My thought for January, lesser known fantasy races, was to make more peasant kobolds (kobold blacksmith, kobold farmer, kobold scribe, etc.) and with a temple of Isis as a backdrop I could make some kobold temple workers/guards/prophets. Don't rush, don't stress. I know you are busy, take all of January to finish the temple.

Thrill to the adventures of Lieutenant Flat Dan and his trusty sidekick Skelly as they rescue the sacrificial maidens from the monstrous cult that lurks in the Temple of Isis! Better than later never, it's the Hoard of the Procrastinators! onemonk.com/fh-2018.html
