Back in town. Took another look at merchant wagon #5. I think it is ready to go, so I guess I'm ready to print out. Assuming I don't find any errors in the build, I'm going to do another one with only a rear door with saturation toned down for #6. Doing some of the Kev's Lounge modified wagon team bases I did for the circus. Using soaringraven's Old Forest Tile trails, cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/thread/8525/old-forest-tile-set , for the texture. Also they need a pack horse ( xtea's), a saddled riderless horse (I need to pick between four horses to make into a mini), and a few loose unsaddled horses (any ideas?)

Got parts prep done last night, so I might be able to finish this one over lunch

Well, if it weren't for the spokes, I'd have finished over lunch ...

One more wagon and then finish up the horses EDIT-- About those horses. If I were running a caravan, I'd keep a couple horses saddled and ready to take off. To be used to run an extended point, or for sweep riding, or sending a messenger up ahead or back. I picture that as a wiry horse, not a muscle-bound hauler. I've collected several horse images, but the one that I think looks most like one that would be used for this purpose is sporting a western saddle. When I was playing with the PaperToys horse, I snagged tack from another horse to rig it. I hope to do the same thing here. I want to do the first horse on the second line as the horse, and the tack of the second one from that line. I have a feeling those other horses may come in handy for some other project.

I think I have settled on the horse. Now I have to make it look more like a figure than a photo.

Well, finished up what I'm doing for the merchant caravan. Three wagons are already sent off, so only three are shown here, with the teams of horses for all six wagons, the spare saddle horse and pack horse and a few characters that I thought might fit.

May you please share the horse files? They will work perfect for my Glorantha stuff.
Thank you.

Those I have. Great for my slightly creepy Ponyfinder knockoff battles. It is the more untilitarian repaints I am craving.

I have to re-format the way to do the crate stacks. I tried just stringing the different faces, only by the time I got to the right side, all those small errors built up and things weren't straight. I'm going to do the grids for the faces first, so that everything will line up, and then paste the faces into the grid. Learning by experience

It's at least enough to look like a store room

VK, Thanks for sharing the viking wagon designs. I haven't been on-line much due to real life emergencies, but I should be back building in month or two. Then I will finish building all the great models you've shared. As a certified wagon-o-holic, I can only say, "keep 'em rollin' ".

Thanks. I do like wagons. I also like odd things like the shipping container buildings.
I also like nautical stuff, but between the cargo box buildings, the Snake Truck and another yet-to-be-disclosed post-apocalyptic vehicle, I've neglected this month's hoard.
