Dear friends, I think it’s time for me to rest a long time. Therefore, I stop releasing new miniatures and models from 2020. Ready-made models of military vechicles and tanks are coming to an end and it is time for me to start making new ones. At the same time I want to relax, because I did not take breaks from 2015 In the meantime, until the end of 2019, I plan to release the following models and miniatures 1. Shoom-Reilar technical 2. Kish-Amolo APC 3. Ensar-Shail main battle tank 4. Henasa-Shel heavy tank Next year I do not plan releases, but it is possible that I will release something (maybe terrain)

I'd say it was time for a break. You have put out some really great material and I know there were some struggles in the midst of it.
With eight releases ready to go, have you considered spacing them out every other month? Most of the comments I have seen from Publishers here say that sales on their older releases picks up when they release something new.
Every other month would keep the name-recognition level there.
It was just an idea, and may not be worth the paper it was printed on ... especially since it isn't even on paper

Vermin King, thank you, friend! I’m afraid I won’t be able to calm down until all the miniatures have been released. My brain constantly thinks about "steels", it is exhausting. Release every set for me "like a stone from the heart" Steel warriors are my curse My miniatures are bought only by a few people from the forum, almost no one buys earlier miniatures. Steel warriors are an absolutely unpopular project, so it makes no difference to release everything at once or stretch for several months. And yet I can’t leave him. It's time to relax and develop new models

I took the year 2010 off from doing almost all art. The only art I did was for game characters for my own gaming group and starting the Star Trek Paper Minis. It's a good idea to take that time and recharge. I've been going full tilt since 2011 and 2018 and 2019 were insane marathon years. I'm grateful that I have the energy and drive to keep going.
I am excited to start building some of your tanks and trucks. I just need those motorcycles with sidecars that I spied a while back.
Rest well, D.

Oh David, I understand your feelings! It is so absorbing that it is impossible to think of anything else. How many times have I told myself that it is time to finish with all this and do something serious. I think the paper miniature is good in that it gives a very concrete material result that can be made from real material. I sometimes regret that I didn’t master 3D modeling, otherwise I would make “steel warriors” for 3D printers By the way, have you not received a letter with motorcyclists? I sent you about a year ago

Rest well my friend and do a bunch of super fun things while you take the time off. It is super important to recharge every now and then. I love your Steel Warriors stuff, but like I said before, I'll buy pretty much anything you create. When you are resting though, don't be a stranger. Drop in and say hi!!

It's time to relax and develop new models Oh, you won't believe how much I understand you! I also had moments of bitter doubt and breakdown - I even stopped believing in what I do... thought that what I publish is not worth much if nothing at all! So I also stopped publishing (but not creating!) for some time, and even now I release new things much less often! Actually the most difficult and painful experience was the collision with market reality! The sets I was hoping for were selling on average or quite poorly, then on the other hand, other themes and sets sold surprisingly or even exceptionally well?! And you know what? Over time, some trends have reversed - user interest changes - sometimes it behaves like a wave /sinusoid. BTW there was kinda strange and quite long period when my sales dropped by almost 50-70% - just like that! - and I didn't know what could be the reason (except for obvious and temporary technical OBS changes - like turning off RPGnow and migration to DTRPG etc. tech issues) Dunno, probably kind of some sort of creators curse?!? And YES (and you know this) - your PROJECT is very unique! It has a large scale, looks thoughtful and consistent and has its very own graphic style! In addition contains many complementary components (such as 2.5D scenery elements and battlefield accessories). And it's really, but really ambitious big one! The one can see that it's result of passion, love and commitment - can feel some Slavic spirit here! But then in case of a new products, and especially such large ones, you need to be rather patient and calm, build your IP systematically and constantly develop your customer base - consistently despite the difficulties! Anyway - I would not expect immediate and excellent results in such a case - then also it's definitely too early stage for the so-called long tail effect... Then I think that the originality of your IP and design has somehow stood in the way of its popularity - your IP and universe is completely new, somewhat exotic and is not known and complementary with most known IP's thus marginal or not understood by most potential users. Perhaps this is not the place and time for such a discussion, but IMHO some things can be changed and improved. Anyway I believe that you will rest and not give up and eventually achieve success! --- Тем не менее я искренне надеюсь, что вы не откажетесь полностью от своего проекта - привет из Польши!

I have known Dmitry for about ten years, and not only because of his work, he really helps me with advice and other things, that's right, he left, but returned, and now he just decided to rest, gain strength so to speak, I’m here also rested, yes, I was still seriously ill, and now, with fresh strength, I also began to slowly continue to create, since there’s something !!!

Mesper, I was born in Poland, in the city of Borno-Sulinovo, where there are lakes with swans. Poland, which gave us the Witcher, This War is Mine and will soon give Cyberpunk 2077! Poland, where my favorite writer Stanislav Lem was born (we even have one birthday on September 12). What a pity that I was not able to visit Poland at a conscious age... Wielkie i ciepłe pozdrowienia z Rosji z miłością! Dziękuję za miłe słowa! With steel warriors, everything is complicated. It's not even about the money, I never thought about the commercial implementation of the project until I got married. I decided to monetize because of my wife, who quite rightly began to tell me that I spend too much time on some strange toys. To avoid problems, I began to publish on the Wault, and I also wanted to motivate my former partner more reliably to create a setting. As a result, the wife calmed down, but the partner still "fell off." My main problem with the project is that it takes almost all my free time from me. I cannot make and produce one set per month, although that would be best. I will definitely think about the project every minute of the month and will make sets until I start to feel sick. In psychiatry, this is called an "overvalued idea" or "idea fix", it is some kind of unhealthy addiction and inability to stop. The preparation of the kits was no less laborious than the creation of them. Assembly instructions, checking models, photos, searching for errors - I spent almost all my free time on this in the last 8 months. I practically didn’t draw anything new, I just prepared and released what was already done. And this is not all, I have 23 sets of infantry and 5 models ready. They should also be released I forced myself to stop. I really want to participate in the contest of illustrators for two years, I really want to draw a comic book according to an old idea. I doubt very much that I can abandon the “steel warriors” forever, but a pause is simply necessary to take a breath and see where to go next, get rid of “overvaluation”, and indeed bring diversity to life. Thank you for your kind words, thanks to you I believe that I will bring the "steel warriors" to the logical end. And I also admire your miniatures, I always dreamed of making historical miniatures, but my historical knowledge is too weak For a long time I tried to make miniatures on the Chechen war and the first world war, but there was a complete fail
