In Rememberance of the Breakaway, I can't believe it's been twenty years since the Moon left.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that.
Scenario idea; Your salvage party has been tasked with investigating an ancient facility on a rogue moon. There are rumors that this base is an artifact from the long lost Terran civilization and clues to the cause of it's demise may be found within.

"Every 25 years the rogue moon passes through our system, and every time there are different monstrosities and alien races of unknown origins inhabiting the ruins of the Terran facility. Sometimes the rogue moon brings great benefits, often though it is a harbinger of woe. It is your generations turn to explore this enigma and perhaps find a clue to the location of the long lost Terran civilizaation."

Well, there's another RPG I need to look into. Sounds interesting It's very sandboxy, you basically have to construct everything beyond the bare basics yourself. The story is that after a galaxy-scale war there was a dark age of 100 years, and the successor species of humanity (originally constructed through bioengineering by the Archons who were humanity's original successor species, bioengineered by humanity) just start to re-discover space and the far beyond. The game starts with ONE star system, and a mostly blank map of the system's local group. The story and the species are quite interesting, as they are all kind of alien, and yet everyone is basically human. The only "real" humans in the game are a species called Palantor, who are in fact robot bodies controlled by a human mind that was uploaded into the Palantor data network ages ago, and recently downloaded into a suitable body... The mechanics are basically simple, but lose themselves in their details. However, you can relatively easily strip the mechanics to their bare bones, or use any other game mechanics with the background. Furthermore, you only need the core rules, the Antagonist Archive, and the Protagonist Archive to play the game (well, you actually only need the core rules, if you want to make up your own universe, anyway).
