I just wanted to wish all my friends here at cardboard warriors a very happy and safe Holiday season in whichever way you choose to celebrate or not celebrate. I've known some of you since way back at Paperworlds and then later with Claudio at Papermakeit. Others are newer friends, but friends none the less. We have a great group of people here and it has been a joy over the years to share our love of paper models and many other things.
I look forward to checking the forums everyday. Mainly to see what new project someone is starting or what cool macguffin someone has found and is enthusiastic about sharing. At this time of year I also look around and think of those members we don't hear from anymore. Most have moved on to bigger and better things. Some are just too busy to check in, and some have passed. This is my first Christmas season since my Dad died. Its been tough but manageable, and it brings to mind other friends not with us anymore. None more so than Ray Stacey. That guy was so much fun. He really loved our little hobby and people in general and was super fun to chat with.
Well there I go getting sappy, so I better wrap it up. Since world peace seems so far off at the moment, I want to wish everyone of you all the peace and goodwill I can and I look forward to many more years of paper model and human goodness! Happy Holidays everyone!
