This little model set is free for everyone. Just wanted to say Thank You for the warm welcome. If you build them please post some pics. I would love to see what you did with them. There are no instructions but the models are so simple even and old dork like myself can build them lol. I hope you all enjoy. Mike Elvish Furniture

ElfFurniture_Page_1.studio3 (151.46 KB) DRAFT cutfile for Page 1 of this free set. I'll post full instructions for use when I've finished them all (including building) when I'll create a cutfile thread for this wonderful kit. This file has not yet been test cut, and must be merged with the original artwork to function - do not attempt to use unless you know what that means. Most importantly: This cutfile contains blank-out sections of art, meant to remove the cutter-registration-mark-incompatible boarders around the artwork. After merging be sure "Move to Back" the art layer so that the regmarks are clearly visible before printing. That is all for now. OldSchoolDM

First page cut-file checks out fine. My build is in progress (I'm making my tables double-sided for extra strength - my storage can get pretty rough...)
As you might guess, the little tabs require using tweezers if you are a fumble-fingers like myself.
Work continues...

Found a designer error on Page 3, darkhorseproductions - There is a problem with the upper-left chairs: The chair backs (back and front) don't match. If you cut out the lovely Elven holes they won't align. Also the chair back design on the upper-right has mismatched front/back - the front is colored but the back is white (again, begging to be cut out.) What was your intention here? I'm suspending work on page three's cutfile until I hear back from you.

HI everyone the corrected file is up. sorry about that. I used the draft chairs in the finished PDF instead of the finished chairs. All yours oldschooldm i removed the border on the page too I hope that helps with the cut files. ElfFurniture

HI everyone the corrected file is up. sorry about that. I used the draft chairs in the finished PDF instead of the finished chairs. All yours oldschooldm i removed the border on the page too I hope that helps with the cut files. Thanks for removing the outline. There is still a problem with one (or more) of the chair-backs, but I'm not sure which one. The upper left one's back panel is significantly longer than the upper right one's - one (or both of them) won't line up properly when constructed, as the fronts are the same size for both designs. Perhaps a test build after changes is in order? Glad to help, OldSchoolDM

OK. I think we've got page 3 sorted... Now the Beds on Page 2. :-) If I'm guessing how to build these beds correctly, it looks like there is extra blanket. For now, I'm adding a fold line and the extra can either spill out onto the floor, or fold/glue under to provide strength (This is what I'll do.) perfs by Oracle Omega, on Flickr I made the perfs red an easy to see. Is this right darkhorseproductions ?

One final suggestion - make the voids (cutouts) including the chair legs Black instead of white. It will make all builds (simple or complex cuts) more attractive.

Absolutely beautiful oldschooldm. By looking at the way the models have come out I will be rethinking some of my design choices. I will most assuredly not be creating such elaborate diminutive cut-out sections. I can just imagine what it would be like to cut this by hand. Not to mention creating strength to the models. a valuable lesson learned and greatly appreciated.

Not to mention creating strength to the models. a valuable lesson learned and greatly appreciated. Glad to help. Also consider detailed designs as color or texture details instead (along with remembering the "Black in Voids" rule.) For example, many of the smaller details would look great deeply "embossed". I enjoyed giving your models a try and am glad to help any new contributor to our midst. Just ask the folks around here...
