Oh, I didn't think to hover the cursor over them. I will just grab my walker and amble back to the old folks home now I make the PDF with Illustrator and it cannot directly add a link to a text. If I add a text that IS the link it convert's it automatic. But in this case I had to add a "hidden" object with the link over the text. Maybe if I underline the text (like Gumroad) it would suggest a link better?
Going to bed for today but will check that tomorrow...

Your flyer should have a link to the Gumroad site, at least until the DriveThruRPG link goes live, and then have both Actually it does. Or at least it should have. When you move the mouse over the Gumroad or DriveThrough text and click on it you are redirected to the shop sites.

Here's an update on the WIP of the Australia Wildlife Relief set. I have collected all contributions and made a little promo pic.
Can you guess all the mini makers?
The set will be released on OBS (DriveThruRPG) and Gumroad and all revenue will be donated 100% to www.akawhospital.org.au/
It's almost finished. I am in the final steps and hope to have it live end of the week!
Hoping we can raise a good amount with this set, so spread the word if you like this!

Hi guys, I have been so busy the last weeks and this is one of the reasons why. As you might have heard Oz has been hit hard this season with the bush fires. And as much as I would love to just hop in plane and fly over and start collecting burnt Koalas out of the wild and nurse them back to health, my life situation does not allow it now.
So I have decided to create a special set with the help of some friends of mine where the income will be donated 100% to a wildlife rescue organization.
I will keep you updated with info and data as they come together but for now I can show you my contribution, the animal sheds.
The idea is to have a set that allows you to reenact the rescue you have enabled with your donation. I have been donated many animals and even a great rescuer papermini. Just need to build them so I can show them to you :-)
If you like this idea, please help spread the word. If you have ideas or questions, just let me know.
Gotta go and build some minis now :-) Later!

So much quality work. One of these days I hope to be able to put out consistent quality like you do Thank you ... and it's basically a matter of time I marvel at guys like mproteau (Paper Realms) who do this besides their real job. I do hope to get faster and keep up the quality, so I can justify me doing this full time!

I already know that the middle build will be for me. The simple build looks too simple for me, and the complex one will exceed my skill levels with my eyes and my fingers. However, I applaud the beauty of it's complexity and creativity. Actually the "complex" version is surprisingly simple. I just cut strips of cardboard, color them black with marker and then glue them together with white glue using a shaper part (But I think even that can be omitted and done freestyle). The only tricky thing is to get the all the heights of the springs to the correct level so the upper wagon can lay flat on it.
But that is the beauty of the different skill options to me. I want people to enjoy the build and have it matching their needs. I can imagine someone building one or two complex versions and still making maybe 5 simple ones for a special game event where you just need lots of the same fast!
lightning , is there a template for constructing the springs? I know AirDave and others generally have a multi-layered piece with a cut-out of the springs to build into. Dave had me do a test-build to see how difficult it would be 'for an average builder', and I didn't find it difficult at all. Unfortunately, it is on my dead computer. Or do you have an alternate method? EDIT-- And squirmydad , don't write off the simple version. The boxes aren't that different than my circus wagons. Creative trimming could make these look nearly as good as the medium difficulty ones. No template really. I explain the steps in the instructions. As mentioned above I use cut strips which I color a desired color and then cut and glue to form the spring shape. While the white glue is wet I form the desired curve shape and after a short time you can let it dry and it will stay in that shape and become quite sturdy.
I use a shaper part (maybe that is the template) for the front and rear springs where I cut out the (inside) curve section and double it up until I get a 2-3mm shaper part. This I use to make sure the springs have the right shape.
But while building I found that after I glued the springs on the flat bed I had to gently push the bed flat to make sure it really IS flat in the end. If there is not too much to correct it works great. If you have too much of a height difference, you might need to cut the larger spring off, trim and then glue back again. I had this happening on my last build. But the multiple layers of cardboard form such a strong material I was surprised how much squeezing and deforming and even cutting they would handle.

I always enjoy looking back at what I have created, so here is my summary of 2019
I made a big change in my Patreon switching from full sets available for a month to smaller bits that stay available (as seems to be what people expect from a Patreon) and here is a pic I made where I made a little camp out of all the things I made in 2019.
I also made a couple of larger sets. The theme was mostly inspired by the (pirate) ships and the consequent "tropical village" but later in the year I had the Halloween steering me towards the graveyard :-)
If you like this format, feel free to join in and show your summary of 2019!

A couple of us got together and created a little Christmas surprise for all of you. You can get it free on our Patreons. This is the link of mine. At the end of the post there you will find a zip file with all the goodies! (It's the same for each of us)
Enjoy and spread the word! #santasworkshop

Happy to announce the release of the DELUXE edition of the hearse wagon. Made a little promo diorama with the minis by okumarts and bravesirkevin and the great new horses by DarekPages!
You can check out more detail pics here and get it on my Gumroad store!
I like the separation of the upper and lower wagon (body & undercarriage) and look forward to make more wagons in this design and hope for lots of advanced undercarriage builds with swapable upper bodies for different occasions.
But this will also be a kind of reality-check to find out how many of you will go for a rather quick and simple build or go all the way for the advanced version.
In any case I hope you enjoy the set!

Here's the advanced 3D undercarriage with springs and all. Again I am using the framework level so that I can detach the wheels from the upper wagon.
Now I have to start adding some details to the wagon, so it becomes a little more than just a box!

So my build threads are helpful? That definitely makes my day Sure thing! I am always on the lookout what others are doing and how. You never know what treasures you may find. And your build threads have often inspired me. Remember when you where doing the Mos Eisly diorama? That ended in me doing the Homestead!

lightning , those are absolutely fantastic. I might have to steal your simple version idea to make EZ Bild versions of some of my wagons and carts. Bless you and yours to a thousand generations. Now before he asks, Punkrabbitt likes to flip things on their side. What does the second version look like underneath? It's not stealing but taking inspiration! Go ahead I have learnt one or two things by watching your build threads, so time for payback
I have two texture versions for the framework with correctly adjusted shadows for the overlay part! My build is a mix of texture and black as I have not bothered to glue the wheel texture on to the back but rather just paint it black. But all the parts are there if you want to go crazy!

So the simple box version looks like this. Very easy and fast to build!
And the medium version sounds like what you guys suggested but just without tab to slot them in. I just glued them on . If you want, you can try some fold-flatting magic but I didn't go that far. I doubled up the wheels onto the simple flat side parts so they get to have some nice thickness!
The horses are loaned by Kevin!

There should be ways to make the medium version stable, but I get it. Like this the wheels are a flight risk :-)
I know a lot of beginners will probably shy away from the advanced version, but I think it will not be very hard to build. The biggest challenge will be that you need to make sure the springs are of a size/lenght/height so that the wagon will appear horizontal and not slanted down or up.
I am trying to get some paper mini makers to make some pulling horses. Will make special bases for them too!

Working on a hearse wagon for the graveyard...
I want to make the undercarriage a separate module so you can switch out different version of the top part easily. Also I want to make different levels of difficulty.
Here is the very simple texture box version.
This one is not much harder to build but will look more realistic (esp when you double up the wheels and give them some thickness, nothing more sad than flat, thin wheel discs IMHO)
And finally I am working on an advanced 3d version where I recreate the "real" spring/axle.
Also I will make adapted versions of the advanced wheel I create for the hand wagon. So you will have two new wheel sizes available for kitbashing!

I have never found the time to start playing with lights. All I have done is do some photoshop light effects :-) I want to do a special edition of the lamppost with a more matching lamp housing. Maybe I can sneak lighting on then!

You can get the DELUXE edition (many customization options) on my Gumroad store.
Or you can get the BASIC edition (simple print&go one look version) on my OBS store (DriveThruRPG, WargamesVault)
The headstones/graves bases are available on my Patreon (free and advanced version)
Enjoy! Chris

I was getting the mausoleum ready for release and now it's done! You can find the DELUXE edition on my Gumroad. There will be a BASIC edition on OBS later but I first want to finish the fences too as some are waiting to get started building before Halloween!

Some progress made with the mausoleum. Not weathered yet but the build went fine.
The corner plinths of the platform are optional. Too make them a little more interesting I added this ornament part mimicking the top roof pointy decorations.
Have to see if I can make some things to put up on there. Maybe a vase or a gargoyle ...

Here's a look at the grave bases!
If you want more mass with the headstones, just double them up. I have also made an adjusted base version for them.
Here are a couple of graves to see how they look on a test tile.
Now I have to build a lot of graves for my map :-)
And next I will start to work on the mausoleum/crypt entrance building.

Perhaps graveyard bases that look like a grave so the headstone slips in at one end? Yes, exactly what I had in mind. A special version of bases just for this occasion. Maybe with grass and dirt option ...
