and done, not a mover and shaker, but 10 i can do Thank You! I am just uploading the last of the comic pages in the next couple of hours and I'll be setting up the paper mini and world building goals for this month. The nice thing is that this will also enable me to finish off some old projects and provide a place to put the outstanding minis that are just floating around, or are almost done and just need that "push".

Thanks Tom, this will include mods to existing minis and colour options not available in sets. I usually make more colour variations than I use in a regular set of minis, this rank will also get write ups and game material not released for the regular patrons. Most of this material won't make it into other products, so it's nice to be able to share it with people. I have also made many mods of old minis I have made that I haven't shared with people so this is also a place where I can put them.

I'm gearing up to build the player's Starship. It's a little Corellian Scow named the Stellar Flare. Doodles and plans to follow.

I would think that a Klingon Science vessel would be better described as an "Intelligence Service" ship. Small, cloaked, able to land on planet. They would be more likely to blow themselves up, taking out the enemy than run. I can see a Klingon Bird of Prey as seen in Star Trek 3 being the basis of this idea, but poorly armed and armoured.

I am VERY grateful to this community. I would love to play a game or many with you at some point. My New Years resolution is to do more conventions and public appearances.

Really great stuff, love it all! You plan on using 2D maps as well or just 3D terrain? If you should have use for 2D deck plans of an Old Republic Consular Cruiser (the red ship from the beginning of Episode I) or of a YT-2660 Transport (your not so ordinary stock light freighter/paddenger transport), you can find those in my deviantART gallery: theshepster.deviantart.com/gallery/40511499/BattlemapsI'm starting to wonder if I should go the 2D map route, or suck it up and go full 3d. I was trying to map out the player's ship. It would be too ungainly to build as a full 3d thing. I'm considering piecing it together using foam core and then texturing it with print outs... that might work better, but wow, talk about time consuming.

I have always seen phasers as a faster, wearing down a ship's shields and the torpedoes are devastating, but limited in use (must reload, only one direction of fire (no arc)). In the Retro Rockets rules Phasers are shorter range (12 inches) and Torpedos are 15 inches. Phasers can hit targets in an arc, but torpedoes go along a line of hexes (I'm dropping the hex map in the final rules so I will have to figure out a different way to do that). Phasers do regular damage and torpedoes do double damage. I am of the school of thought that torpedoes are deadly.
In Where No Man Has Gone Before RPG ship Constitution class ships have 6 phaser banks (Weapon Rating (WR) 20) and 2 Torpedo Banks (WR 25). Shields on Constitution Class Ships are rated at 18. Klingon disruptors are WR 30 and Klingon torpedoes are 25.
I will have to have a closer look at Far Trek.
In Starfleet Battles I think the Phasers can fire up to something like 75 hexes and Photons only go 15, but do lots of damage.

So I've been running a White Star RPG Star Wars campaign and I thought I'd run a major story arc in 2017. I've been using paper minis and that's going just fine, but I wanted the campaign to stand out so I'm going the extra mile on this one. First off: Custom Character Sheets, made to look like the old toy packaging. Secondly: Custom terrain brought to you by the fine folks at swminiature.free.fr/download_decors3d.htmThirdly: Custom minis made from Fighter Pods toys. Man, it's hard to find them fighter pods toys these days...

I only built the larger scale ones, but they weren't too challenging. I didn't see the hidden star wars figures you had found. The stormtroopers and ewoks looked cool!

As requested by a super backer for the Darkfast Dungeons Kickstarter, I have been working with GGStudio to create paper minis for the Renaissance Zombie setting for Savage Worlds: Ultima Forsan. Those who have not heard about it should check it out. www.drivethrurpg.com/product/153275/Ultima-Forsan--Setting-Book?hot60=0&src=hnumI will be releasing two initial sets: Ultima Forsan: Heroes and (next month) Ultima Forsan: Opponents. Each set has 12 main figures as well as the bonus material I like to put into each set. The first release will be in a few days. I just need to finish the colour layers and product/trade dress.
