Hey all! Stil plugging away, but have been crazy busy with non-mini related stuff. Back is still bad, but get my scan results in a few weeks so fingers crossed I'll get on teh mend. The planned sets are coming along slowly but surely (I have some interesting ideas for modern urban cultists...), but the game is on hold for the moment. Will keep you all updated, and thanks for your patience! Oh, and afet-there will be 5 wolves with 3 different colorways

Ahoy! Well, I am finally getting back to normal, so expect more sporadic postings over the coming months LOL! Work is ongoing with the Wolf pack, the game has undergone it's final updates (hopefully!) so it's now down to writing a legible rulebook and re-texturing the board. I have also been tinkering with the Urban Wizard sets for the Occult Terrors line. They are shaping up to be produced as 'mini' sets-the magic user casting and non-casting, either one large adversary or a couple of standard sized enemies, a diorama backdrop and the new 'Occult Stone' bases I have worked up. I have 3 sets in the planning stages, and did a construction test for one already- The Amazing Zandi on his flying carpet basing option: I am pretty pleased with how it turned out! Will keep you all posted on progress! Cheers!

Hey folks! Sorry I haven't posted for a while-the back issues have arisen once again, keeping me away from the drawing table and pc rather more than I want. We also had a bereavement in the family, and due to police and hospital investigations we have only recently been able to organise the funeral (which is Thursday this week). I have been getting some design work done on the wolves and a couple of Urban Wizards, as well as non-mini related Derby stuff. I hope to be up and running again properly soon, but dependent upon my back scan may have to slow down my already glacier like pace until it is sorted Hope to get something sorted for the Papercut Awards, so fingers crossed... Cheers, A

Thanks guys! The wolves are going to be 'unisex'-I always imagined the wolf form to be a mass of muscle and pretty much genderless, so that's the way teh pack will be going Enjoying working on these guys after so long, and hope to get them finished relatively soon! Will keep you posted...

Hey guys. Thanks for the criticism-the hood is meant to be pretty tight fitting to the head in my design, so I can see why you wanted it 'stretched'. I think it may be the image I posted-when compared to the same figure from my builds, the eyes and top of head (inside the black border) align fine. Again, thanks for the criticism, but as this is an example of a mini that will be in a sale set, can I please ask that you don't do any mods and wait for the finished model? Also, as this is a commercial set I would appreciate it if you asked me before modding any of the models contained in it. Cheers, A

Sorry to hear that Parduz I was rather pleased with them (despite my physical restrictions when making them). Hopefully the rest of the squad won't be too disappointing!

Well, one sprained spine/pelvis joint and a computer meltdown later, I am finally back to mini design!! I have had to adapt to a new way of working over the past month, limiting pc time to 10 minute bursts and have been doing a lot more inking in Photoshop-the next set is the result. A bit different to previous sets, SURVIVAL HORROR SET 7: EXTRACTION has human figures only-two six man extraction squads in hazard suits, one team in Black Ops Camo, the other in Classic Biohazard yellow! SQUAD LEADER in Black Ops Camo I am hoping to include another diorama backdrop for these guys, and will be finalising a release date soon!

Howdy folks! Been out of commission for a while with a sprained spine/pelvis joint, so pc time is at a minimum at the moment! Just a quick peep at the first versions of the ESCAPE VAN objective tile from the SURVIVAL HORROR BOARDGAME: After consultation with the playtesters, I think we will go with a closed door version to stop any 'hiding zombie' arguments! Hope to be posting more regularly again soon once the back is a bit better.Cheers!

The SURVIVAL HORROR game I am working on has similar elements (escape, finding and combining items/weapons etc) but set in a police station (for the base set) rather than a prison. Oh, and with zombies. Lots and lots of zombies. When researching to see if there were similar games out there to what I was working on, I didn't come across anything like you suggest; I'm not saying I exhausted the interwebs in my search, but I'd say it doesn't sound like you'd be accidently stepping on anyone's toes. Sounds good, and I'd certainly be interested in checking it out!

PHEW! Long time no post! Worry not though, progress has been going on apace in SURVIVAL HORROR world-had a couple more playtests, a lot of design and mechanics tweaking and additional character design and we are finally getting something like! I hope to get a write up of the last playtest on here and the DARKMOOK blog soon, but in the meantime here is a quick pic of the re-designed civilian: Getting closer, folks...

Hi folks-long time no post! I have been having major computer issues, with quite a few of my files being turned into unrecognizable versions of themselves ('What do you mean this file isn't compatible with this version of Photoshop-I just MADE IT on this version of Photoshop??!!??' being a constant cry in DARKMOOK Towers at the moment...) but hopefully will be getting a loaner laptop this weekend so normal service should be resumed! I am still working on the Horror Hospital set, and am also making a start on an Urban Magic set. I am also compiling a bunch of stuff for WWII era weirdness, but we will have to see how that goes... In other news, I have a playtest with the revised rules for the SURVIVAL HORROR game this Saturday, and will try to get a 'battle report' sorted for the blog if it pans out. So, not idle but certainly battling to get stuff finished! Cheers!
