Very effective. Suppose you have a favorite gaming character. Why not jazz him up a bit? You have a big boss that your party is going to encounter. Make him a bit more impressive without trying to turn him into a 2.5d or 3d model.

Funny you posted this. I had the idea of enlarging one of Permes' (mesper) Knights' Templar figures to something like A5 size and really going to town with the layers.
I guess most of my figures are laminated, rather than 2½D. I thought I'd have go with the Knights of the Realm, for my 15 mm figures, but at that scale, six layers of card is starting to get hard to work with...
I also haven't gone too deeply into raised detail, as I am trying to get at least one project finished before summer. Once I have the Chronicles of Blood up and running, I plan to start work on the Templar figure.

Vermin King: It does help keep you from picking up unintended hitchhiker files, though. It would be better if they gave a notification that you are attempting to download multiple files and to check the box in front of each file you wish to download
