Got the fold-overs glued and let dry under weight overnight. I will be flat-basing the marines using bravesirkevin's bases.

I printed off the template building and was pleased with it overall. Now I need to work on the stairs.

okumarts, Have you decided how you want to approach the stairs?

okumarts, Have you decided how you want to approach the stairs? I was hoping to address that today but I got busy. Looks like that will be some time spent tomorrow. I kind of like the stairs being placed beside and slotted into the roof bit myself. I'm still debating the built in option however.

I kind of like the stairs being placed beside and slotted into the roof bit myself. I'm still debating the built in option however. Now granted, the designer of the cutsy desert hovel should have done better geometry, but I do like the concept of either having a back wall option, or an extended back wall that turns into the railing for the stairs. Back to Nova Blast, the unit fits on a 2d base, so it would have a tendency to flop to one side or the other. My third solution may be the best. I made two triangular tubes that fit next to the slot inside the body of the floater unit. That forces everything to stay vertical. I like the swappable weapons, too. Like I said, that was solution # 3. Number one was a triangular sling that interfered with the cowl and weapons. Number two was a former that was too difficult to place correctly.

okumarts, Have you decided how you want to approach the stairs? From either the top or bottom. If you approach them sideways, you'll walk into the wall, or fall off...

Well, I am home today ... sick. At least my fever is down. I was thinking I wanted to build something quick and obscure. So, I went to PaperHollywood, web.archive.org/web/20171206150710/http://www.paperhollywood.com/I was trying to get a back door to either the Goozi or Ghost of Man sites, but I was reminded of Jay's Box of Toys. I really wanted to build something that I could direct you to the download site. Requires more thought EDIT-- The Ghost of Man Repulsor Scout it is. Wayback Machine could not get me to the site, but you can get to the model at web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.ghostofman.com/models/*I don't want the flight stand, yet the hatch is on the page with the stand, so time to do some Gimp work

Last night I worked on the dome. I think this works. Some people were concerned that the roof supports wouldn't support weight so I loaded up 14 metal minis on the roof and everything seemed ok. I even put some of those heavy Mutant Chronicles ones up there.

Last night I worked on the dome. I think this works. Yes. At least in my opinion. I did the radar dome in the same fashion. 1, I think it easier to build, and 2, I think it fits better in this situation. The first one looks a bit more modern(?) geometry wise, and sort of looks out of place next to this one.

They are approximately 1/72, bat they can be easily resized, can they be useful?

They are approximately 1/72, bat they can be easily resized, can they be useful? Oh wow! Those are great! These would complement my set so well! The set is going to be fairly basic, focusing on one building. The only thing I have to finish up tonight is the stairs and finish the test build.

okumarts, I do hope you will do more than one. Variety, you know. Is this going to be modern, historic, generic, sci fi? Very intriguing. As far as my project, I have to pause for thought a lot. Here's the instructions If I had studied the parts more, I would have moved some tabs around, but I didn't even think of that until I had built page one of the parts The issue is how to get your fingers in there to secure the joins. I think I am just going to work front to back, finishing up with that back flap on the lower hull. Then glue on the canopy, tower and lower engine. That leaves the fiddly bits. Wish me luck

Ernesto, I was totally unaware of these. Not my preferred scale, but very useful. Thanks

Textures done and I think the set is pretty much there. I put the Supporters set up on Patreon and the Final PDF should be available this weekend. Whew... that was a knife fight.

I've wanted to make this one for years. Looks good, I might have to add it back to the pile of stuff I'm using to procrastinate on the radar station.

I hadn't built much of the Ghost of Man ships, but I was pleased with it. I think I would prefer it to have a different paint scheme. I think my next GoM build will be the Z-95

Well, group build became just me building. A gal who doesn't feel confident wanted me to build the Canon Sloth and go step-by-step with her. I finally just built it, since it was printed off

I have a functioning printer. I have used it to print Van To The Future.
Let's see how long it takes me to get it built.

OK, so I am still working through the stuff ignatious sent me. I have finished one of the pink trucks that Vermin King designed, and a little construction robot. I have a human miniature for scale (Cannon Fodder from Wargames Atlantic.) I was unable to find wheels the proper size at the Dollar Tree today, so we will try a few more locations over the next week or so. And Punkrabbitt found his wheels!

Also now really looking at it, I have to say, your build is immaculate. The things I build look good at an arms length, and maybe even close up, but when it's in a picture, you can see all of the glue that suck to my fingers, that is now stuck to various places...ect... . Bottom line, that thing looks super clean. This is great!!

Thank you Vermin King for bringing my pictures over from FaceBook. ignatious, I bought three identical Hot Wheels (or maybe it was Matchbox?) trucks so I could build two of these with five wheels each lol! I appreciate the kind words on the build, it does have a few minor errors; it was my first model in quite a while. I've been doing this hobby for about 20 years now, I am starting to get passably good at it.
