Dryw-> Thanks! ;D I am glad you like it! ^^ Okay than I will go for a draft horse too, but it will be really familiar to the pack horse. xD Anita-> Thankies! About the palomino's pose. I have used reference pic for it. This one-> www.menek.hu/adat/oldal/6/Image/lo-03.jpg It was hard to draw the back legs. I think the problem is with the left back leg, but as you can see on the photo the two pose is the same. =/ so I dunno. And I planned to show the pack hores's nose.

Yes, the problem indeed is the back left leg. Doesn't look like a hard fix though. The thigh on your picture is tilted, while on the reference the tight points straight down on the ground, which of course would change the point where the lower part of it meets up with the horse's knee, so maybe it is not that easy after all I don't know... maybe you'll find it funny what it reminds me now as is, but you have to put up with meaner jokes from dad, so I'm sure you'll forgive me if it doesn't sound funny at all. This way the horse looks like he really has to go to the bathroom, but has to wait, and crosses her legs to be able to make it. Anita

Looks very good, Xtea. you have a talent with making the horses look natural and full of emotion. I agree on the last horse. Maybe a different pose would work out better if this one gives you too much trouble.

I love the new sketches! Absolutely wonderful equines!
I like the palamino sketch, I think the only thing that makes it look odd is that you have the back legs elongated or extended to sit on a flat plane. Where as in the reference photo since the ground slopes from left to right the horses hind legs are slightly more compressed and more parallel underneath in a landing pose. It may be that you just need to adjust the read legs and possibly their angle and compression. (Try rotating your Reference photo so that the ground plane is flat and compare to your current sketch. You can see where all but the hind legs seem a match)
Anyway, my two cents. And I hope I made some sense...
This is lovely work xTea.

Anita-> Sorry I dont really understand whats the problem. xDD So I think I will redraw it, the pose will be the same but in different angle. Yeah, lol xDDD I dont think horses do such things. Jabbro-> Thank you! ^__^ I really like drawing horses. ;D -from reference pic- I will change the angle of the pose. ;D Floyd-> Thankies! I am glad you like them. ;D Okay I will keep the pose, just I will draw it in a different angle. I have the same pose from totaly side view thanks to Anita. ;D This way the horse's head will be totaly in side view =/ but at least it wont look odd. Or I will hope so. And yeah, I cheated on the length of the wrong leg because Anita said at paperfigures perspective an logic dont really allways matter. For example in flat bottoms... okay I hope you understand what am I mean on it.. ^^;

During the decades I sculpted the originals for metal figures, I learned that horses are one of the most difficult things to do. Xtea, your horses are outstanding!
Have fun! Steve

These are looking good. I like the new Palomino. Looks like it is tilted a bit in the drawing.
The draft horse is very cool. Reminds me of a Clydesdale.

Jabbro-> Thanks The Palomino is running while only one hoof of him is on the ground. And wow, you know well the horses species. Originaly the shape of the horse is a Percheron Draft Horse I like it a lot, but it doesnt have hair on the feet so I mixed it with a shire draft horse's -omg it is really a huge horse!- spots and feet hair. But it is really familiar to a Clydesdale. so you werent far from the truth. Dryw-> Your welcome! your welcome! your welcome! ;D I am glad you like it. ^^

Hi guys again! Okay I know that I am really slow... ^^; Sorry for that. But i finally finished a horse. Okay I know that one is not much... I have drawn the other side with tablet and I color in the miniature resized version so it was much more quicker. I hope you like it. Well I cannot print it out so I hope it is in line and I also hope that the colors are okay... so here it goes the colored wild horse in original size: Thanks! C&C are very welcome! ^^ ;D

Hi Xtea,
I already printed off a small herd of wild horses, both the light one and the darker one. They lined up fine. I measured the base width to 20mm so the size came out right. I also printed some in reverse so they look different. They all came out beautifully. ;D Dryw the Harper

Wow Dryw! You are so quick! Thank you for testprinting them. I am happy that they look great. *hugs* *dance* Okay so I finished the pack horse too. I hope the black parts arent so dark. I try to use darker color for shadows. And for this time I only use textil and leather texture, so sorry that the horse didnt get texture. But I hope it is till good. ^^ Anyway I like how it turned out. :3 So the original size: I hope you like it guys! ;D C&C are very welcome! ^___^ byez

Hi Again Xtea, I now have two Pack Horses added to the stables, one normal, one printed in reverse. They lined up just fine, I used 25mm bases to judge the size. They came out great, if just a touch dark (just a little bit). I am sure they will see a lot of use during gaming. ;D Dryw the Harper

Very nice! Horse are always welcome in my house. They are particularly useful for when Demons are attacking your village as the pack horses will run out and stomp the Demons into the ground - splat! Then the Angels make soup out of them...

Dryw-> Thaaaaanks! about the pack horse: so you think I should darkened it a bit? In everywhere? or just some parts? sry my english is not really good. ^^; Jabbro-> After Anita said me to color them in small size it is much more easier than in big. xDD Just they arent that nice, but at least I will finish the set somewhen. =P Although I am afraid of drawing the other side of the draft horse and the pegasus. Because I did it with tablet... and thats not really easy. P: Oh and of course thank you so much! ^^ Anita-> Thaaaanks! Squirmydad-> Thank you! Hehe sounds funny. ;D I havent known that my pack horse is that powerful! ;D Bryn-> Thank you soo much! ^^ I am so glad you like them guys! ^^

Yay for double post! xDD Sorry... ^^; But i dont want to modify again my last post. I did the palomino horse, the horse with the special colour. It is such a beautyful horse! <3 Anyway I didnt use any textures there. I thought it would totaly ruined the palomino's golden shine. I cannot decide between the two hair version: -I vote on the white version...- C&C are very welcome! ^^ Thanks! ^^ :3
