Heh - I am not surprised, I am hearing many good things about Dragon Age. I have a copy, but because of time constraints I will not start playing it until after Christmas. I am one of Santa's elves, in a way - painting little toy soldiers (gaming miniatures) for Christmas presents, some that I am giving, and some that I have been hired to paint for others. Added to this is a very silly Christmas game, involving edible terrain (a witch who lives in an actual gingerbread cottage, a meringue mushroom forest, a rock candy cottage.... Time between now and Christmas will be scant enough. I have already lost valuable time because of Civilization 4. Again.) Caitlin once informed me, in very serious tones, that I do not have an evil laugh, no matter what her daddy told me when he was playing in my D&D game. So, I passed on her message. The Auld Grump

Dave: Thanks for the comment! I am not going to start playing Halo then if it is really that overrated. It must be good for some who likes the genre though because of how many parts have been made. The Auld Grump: Thank you for forwarding the messages. As for the moment there were no plans for rider fairies. Later on I might change my mind and make a whole army of them if I ever get back to drawing. This game is just way too cool. Oh, and Xmas is coming up so there are other reasons to be extra busy. Anita I like very much DAO too. I've finished my third playthrough some days ago. Now I'm waiting for third DLC "Return to Ostagar" available this holiday season. Green Ronin is accepting pre-order for their Dragon Age RPG, the pdf version costs 17,50 US $, it is a good price for me, but I need some paper miniatures ;D

I could see how this game would translate so easily to a table top RPG. The world is very detailed and the backgrounds are so richly developed. Really all you need is a bunch of Tainted. Anyone can pass for a Grey Warden.

I like the Faeries so far! My Gurps campaign is run different than traditional fantasy RPG's. Instead of Gods there is Animism or spirit worship. The spirits in question are Faeries. Good and Bad.
These will work perfectly with my campaign.

Yes, you remember well. But ... ok sry for changing hungarian. szóval jól emlékszel -asszem-, de akkor a bush fairyvel volt új, nem? és hogy így pansyékkal tetted fel, ők jobban tetszenek.

Kind of tangential, but I thought that you might be interested - Prince August has come out with some Molds for making Fairy Fridge Magnets. <-Link I think yours are better looking, but I suspect that you would also do a nice job painting these. The Auld Grump

Jabbro is one (or was one) of my favorites. I have all of his stuff, and it is great. I do understand how life can "distract" you from this. Maybe they will return one day.

I won't keep doing this. It is just a homage to these beautifully done minis. Maybe one day she returns to this hobby. Sometimes I go to wikipedia to see what happened with some 80's singers and actors and I feel in a similar nostalgic way about this thread. I usually work with vectors and have not the skills to manipulate images, but there is a chance that could work as rough back art to this beautiful front art.

Thanks, lvmenes. I too miss @jabbrojones, anitangel, and xtea, even though they were long gone before I ever joined. I have all their pieces, but haven't the time or skill to complete them as you have done here.
