Yeah ! The last one is also VERY dynamic. I should experiment more with Inkscape-vectors ;D ... this must be a great timesaver !?

Yes, it is. I draw them in vector and paint them in photoshop. I´m a little slow with my thri-kreen for now because my work is using a lot of time of my day.

This project is stopped, i don´t have to much time to go on with it, and I have some economic problems but i´ll continue. I make a stop to make the eagle chaman to the hoard. The chaman is finished but i´m trying to make some eagles to include with him. Thri-kreen will be here don´t worry, and there is a project of thri-kreen archers and mages.

Good luck with everything. Whenever it is time to pick up this project again, I'm sure there will still be a lot of interest.
Take care of business and pick this up later.
We'll be eagerly awaiting

Yip, Verminking said it all: there will be always interest in your uberawesome Bugs, Reivaj. I will have a use for them in a non-D&D-setting, I think. Some jungle/desert race for Basic Roleplaying in Ancient times ... Bugs of Nubia !

Nice looking. With the cape it reminds me of the creature from Mimic a little bit.

Very good, looks like a commander or at least a veteran troop with the cape and multiple blades.

Nice looking. With the cape it reminds me of the creature from Mimic a little bit. Mantids and roaches are very closely related...... maybe the creature in mimic was a sewer dwelling Thri-kreen?

Stunning beautiful miniature-set, Reivaj. I just downloaded it. I have to stare at those fine-shaded, very earthen colors (well chosen !). All those little dots, details, tribal tattoos, oh my god. At the same time, the design is very clear and easy for the eyes. That's a very good solution stylewise. I have no doubt, Reivaj, that this set would be a very heavy contender in the Paper Cut Awards battle ! Imagine those minis in a cave setting - well foto-pictured . This is true AD&D hommage.

Thanks for your words guys But i don´t feel that my skill level is enough to be in the paper cut award. There are very good artist here, also i don´t build these bugs yet to be photographed. I´ll try to do another set because i have 2 or more Thri-kreen without color and a lot of pencil sketches. Thanks again for the words, it stimulates to continue with my work, as well as tommygun´s robot and josé´s orcs that inspired me to resume this project

Makes me want to run a Thri-kreen only AD&D campaign. I'd make all of the players communicate by making clicking noises. I love the big one, all individual characters, even though they are bugs.

We ran a similar scenario one time. We'd make odd noises and pass notes back and forth for what we were saying. DM insisted that the notes pass through his hands before being disbursed ...

The vector revolution is now in full swing My group is playtesting mighty monsters (Ganesha) using card figures... the Thri-kreen are representing the giant mutant insect faction.

They look crisp and have a lot of depth, you need to get up close to realise they are flat
