I think these are great little characters and would be even better as a set. They should have a queen though maybe a shaman too.

I concur I would like to see some either without weapons so we can add scifi weapons, or with some scifi equipment. These guys fit in our fantasies and our dreams.

A well and truly excellent paper miniature. You are getting very good at these. The pose is superb. I'd like to see a little more separation to emphasize the head though.
Great work man!

Very, very nice, Reivaj. I was hooked on this masterpiece when I first saw its blank unshaded form on the Hoard. And with colors now: amazing . Very subtle shading. Small skin dots etc. One of the best minis I've seen so far for sure. One suggestion: I've read some Thri-Kreen-lore lately (to learn what you are working on) and there are some kind of double blade weapons mentioned if I got it right - polearms with blades on both ends !? Hardcore D&D guys would love it ... .

Exactly Paladin!!. I see you have studied . I already design these weapons for the other thri-kreen minis. Here there is a pic without any texture or shading. Thanks for your comments Attachments:

Yes. I have done my homework ;D. I recognize those weapons as traditional Thri-Kreen-culture. The star blade. You must be an archaeologist of old TSR material ... .

I've always had a soft spot for the Thri-keen, if you could get enough poses of each weapon type (3ish) it could make for a good start on another fantasy army .

Sorry for my lateness, but the last two weeks i´m back in the work and i have the half of time. Sirrob and verminking: i was trying to do that but i don´t know if i´ll have the time to complete an army. I´ll try. For now, here is a pic of the second Thri-kreen without the black border, this one is with a standart (<-- i don´t know if this word is ok). I hope you like it Attachments:

Do any Thri-Keen fly?

I have not seen any adult Thri-kreen pic with wings, i just saw thri-kreen larvae pic flying. But if you allow me to not be faithful to what is known about the Thri-kreen, I'll make some Thri with wings. I liked the suggestion tommy. thanks

I just find these guys easy to visualize in a campaign.
Very nice

If you reverse the mini verticaly it will correctly matches with the front. Look the arms, left one is higher than the right one. I´m working in others warriors, another big one. After finish them i´ll try some archers. Thanks for the comments

Reivaj - those Bugs are really, really well done !!! I especially like the shape/pose of the strong one. But I think, Mr useless is right: there is no way those front/back parts could match without mirroring correctly. Do you mean that ? Front and Back - horizontally aligned - must be mirrored vertically. Great work !

No, if you were to mirror the back and not the front, it would be fine.
I really do like these a lot BTW

Yes, they match ! Rotate the back piece 180 degrees, put it directly left or right from the front piece and they will match too. Two ways of printing layout. Up/Down or Left/Right.

Looking really good! They would fit well on a post-apocalyptic scenario too, maybe herding some giant fire ants.

I was imagining them in a 'hive colony' type situation.
They have so much potential.
They almost scream out that they need to be used.
