Hmm... I have something almost ready to go. This will tack a day or two on the set, but yeah, I think I will add a mini game as a freebie for this set.

That's cool. I teased the gang with the idea tonight and realised that the DM runs the Ottawa Haunted Walk so we will definitely be pausing the current D&D campaigne near Halloween.

I love the Ottawa haunted walk... my kids thought it was creepy. I actually got quite a bit written tonight. I will finish the first draft tomorrow and then edit and playtest. Should be kind of cool actually. It will be a free minigame attached to the set.

After MUCH progress last night, tonight I have to succumb to my cold and rest. I will get back at finishing this set for sometime over the weekend.

Still sick, but soldiering on. Drew a bunch of zombies today for the extras (not much of a surprise, but I'm sure they'll be appreciated). I'm also finalizing the art for the game tiles. I'm a little torn. My original idea was to have the characters fight their way through an underground base, but that's just not inspiring me. Other ideas for a setting?

A shopping mall is the natural habitat of furries and school girls are also familiar with the terrain. Eaton centre maybe?
Or how about a Victorian Jail: Halloween Haunted Walk goes Horribly Wrong!
That can't be the title btw. Glen defends his "Haunted Walk" copyright pretty jealously

Yeah, I agree Squrimydad! I like the title, "Myspacebarseemstobebroken" is an EXCELLENT name for a Zombie Game! But them again that might be a better name for a Star Wars Cantina-style game... (Ok, these are the jokes, people. Sheesh...)

Those ranges are great! But one question, why all your miniatures ranges have one of them with one leg up?

Good question Slorm, I HATE minis that are static, just standing there. I have always found them boring and uninspiring. I love dynamic, active minis and I want my minis to be dynamic and active. Let's keep it moving people!

OK, I have brought all the sets (excepts the retro space) and they are great, the one ges troops aren't as much as I thought and the hidden bonus idea is great.
Now I have a bunch of bandits and shaolin monks ready for be cut.
Great work Okumarts! Clap, clap, clap......

Slorm, thanks so much. I hope they are exactly what you need and you have some fun with them. Your purchase woke me up at 7:30 (local time) this morning. I forgot to turn off my email notifications. That's ok. I did some more playtesting of the mini game for the next set. I'm not convinced it'll be ready to go for THIS Tuesday, but sometime next week for sure. We'll see if I can't sneak out a random set for Darkfast while we're all waiting.

To be honest I have the next Darkfast set drawn, I just have to colour it and organize it. I'm also working on an EPIC sword and sorcery set that will knock your socks off with customizing options.

Man, that cold took a lot out of me. Not getting too far in the art department, but made some important strides in the mini game rules. I'm hoping that the remainder of this week is more productive.

Oooooh!
I like these!
Kind of reminds me of Titan A.E. with the computerized background and the hand drawn elements.
Great stuff!
Will these have layers?

Are these 1" squares or 1.5"?
1.5 would work great for HeroClix, and it would print out at 6"x6" for a 4x4 grid. That would format nicely for 8.5x11 OR for A4!
Or are these 4x4, with two tiles per page?
Just curious!
Looks great by the way. But them again, YOU did them...

I was drinking coffee when I checked this page.... I laughed and some coffee came out of my eye. How is this possible? They are awesome, in fact, they have inspired me to run that zombie RPG I always talked about. Halloween is going to be unbelievable this year. Thankyou. The pressure of laughing or coughing can force liquids up your tear ducts, the wrong way obviously. Difficult to do, but it can happen, congrats
