Serene Fist four is in the final stages of playtesting. It's a system I want to use for the other genres so I want to make sure it works. I'm really enjoying it so far.
The figures are drawn and just need colouring and layout.
Serene Fist five will be a Wuxia heroes and villains set.

Lots more zombies in there besides furry zombies. There will be lots of regular zombies as well as a few toxic varieties.
I finalized the game cards this weekend and will be working on the rulebook editing this week.
Still hoping to sneak another set out sometime as well.

Depending on how thick the rulebook is, I would volunteer to proof-read, if that helps. I'm pretty good at finding spelling and grammar errors ... except in forum posts

I may need to take people up on the proofreading...
Playtesting finished tonight and a few changes are being made. There are going to be a TON of minis in this set. Just a horde of zombies of all different kinds. Really fun to playtest this. I hope people enjoy playing it. Ok.. back to work.

This set is HUGE... I mean.. huge. Here is my final artwork that needs colouring this weekend. Rules are out for proofreading... oh my .. I feel bad that it's not out before Halloween (which was my deadline), but I think it will be a better set with the extra time.  |

I'm looking forward to it as well. The game has been really fun to playtest. I'm releasing the game as a free beta release with this set as I am sure there are still tweaks that it will need to be better. Eventually the game will be a free release and future sets will be expansions that i will release as pay sets.

You probably can't get a better target audience for your game than your paper model enthusiasts, so including the Beta is a great way to get their attention

I have finished colouring the set. There is a mind-boggling amount of miniature goodness in this set. Tonight I will start laying them out as minis. The tedious work begins. The Mini game is still out for editing and will probably require the week until it is finished in any way shape or form.  |

Can hardly wait. Watching Walking Dead has made me want to bring my All Things Zombie campaign back from the dead... This set looks like zombies invaded a comic convention. Pure awesome inspiration for a scenario.

Those are awesome. It's unfortunate that it couldn't be completed by Halloween, but I definitely see these as a Christmas present. Have you considered where you are going with this line next? I'd still like to go back to the Victorian theme at some point. Victorian Edo or Formosa. Docks, warehouses, pirates in cramped squalid conditions. I'd still like to see someone do some Sampans and Junks. Not necessarily for battles, but then again, why not ...  My texturing sucks, but I've recently been playing with sort of an alternate universe idea. Trying to take oriental buildings like torii, temples, bridges, etc and skinning them out in a Sci Fi theme. I see it in my head, but my skills don't get me there. Sort of a Space Ninjas and Samurais deal. Enough rambling. Whatever you come up with will be great. |
