Ok im faced with a difficult situation: VERY limited time and LARGE amount of figs, vehicles, scenery and buildings to develop...
So I either need to try collaborating with someone and /or try to prioritize what i work on.
So Would you guys prefer one complete set of figures (6 rocket troopers) or a 1 set of one of each type (Rocket trooper, Projectile warrior, stealth trooper, Egyptian warrior, steam ninja, redcoat trooper, Zulu steam warrior) and then vote on which complete set to develop next?

I would prefer you to just do the rocket trooper and go on to the next, but I am probably in the minority on that opinion.

Like in just the one or a squad. I have two rocket troopers completely completed and one in final drawn stage... so there will be at least three..

Now a minority of two. ;D I'd like to see the Rocket Troops followed by a GI-NORMOUS spider crawler death machine. While you are rolling those out the door I suggest you have a poll to help sort out the next figure sets if that's what you need to achieve clarity of purpose. I vote for mechanical Ninja.

I'd like to see you finish the squad of Jump Troopers and then work on the Ninja.

Do you mean i should click on my project thread and then create new poll from there? or is there somewhere else that my member name is? I don't have the option to create a poll when in my dragnoz threads section (see attachment) hehe... well there is definitely a lean towards ninja's Attachments:

Yes, my project page shows me a "New Poll" button to the right of the "new thread" button. This looks like a job for: ADMIN MAN!!!! (I consider this the forum equivalent of the bat signal flashing in the sky. I'm sure someone will be here to help soon. )

You know it is bad when an Alaskan says it was breezy! Since you asked, this is what I want out of a set of figures... I would like to see three Jump troopers. If you don't want to do three unique poses, pull the old "flipperooni!" Have Figure one... then flip it horizontally, then change out the weapon for a different one... (either a heavy weapon, or specialized weapon like a flame-thrower (always a crowd-pleaser) or other non-rifle weapon). By doing this, you can come up with a set of three figures fairly easily. So, what do you do with the rest of the page? Do the SAME figures in a different color scheme... or throw in some ninjas (since they are being requested fairly heavily). Call the set "SPECIAL FORCES" or "STEALTH ASSAULT" or something along those lines. Do a page of these guys in a few different colors (like you did your first set), and you will have us eating out of your hands. There are MANY amazing artists here. There are a few people that I will buy all of their sets as soon as they are released. You are among these people for me! No matter what you release, I will buy it, build it and it will see its share of battle on my gaming table! Follow your heart... we are waiting!

ha thanks as always Kill...
yea i dont think ill ever do a 3 fig flip and colour set... for some reason my brain keeps telling me 6 figs per set... For the rocket troopers i actually have 7 but one came out sub standard and something is just wonky and off about him.. so ill give it away with the free assembly instructions...

I've been marketing figures for nearly thirty years now, and I don't think giving away a sub-standard figure with the instructions is the best idea. Give away one of your most outstanding figures, and it will drive sales of the rest. Give away a sub-standard figure, and people will come away with the impression that your whole line is sub-standard. And all of us who are your familiar with your work know that it is NOT sub-standard!
Have fun! Steve

I couldn't agree MORE, Steve! Many people will download ANYTHING that is free. What do they have to lose? A few minutes, and a small amount of hard-drive space? To these people, this may be the ONLY pieces of your work that they get. They will base EVERY figure you have done or WILL do, on this figure. If you can put one figure in every person's hand, you want it to be a good one. I might suggest either your Grenadier (because it is an amazing figure, and it is already out there). Look at the free figure to be one that will make people WANT to buy your sets. Seeing as though people can see it, and run right out there and buy it (so to speak), this will only help you out in the long run. Just my 2 cents worth... and with the currency exchange, that isn't even worth THAT much...

lol thanks guys you make complete and utter sense and stopped me from doing something silly... Yea I think I'll take some of the best ones for the free basing instructions... I have to up the quality of that as well as the current one was a "o fiddly sticks i need instructions"... Would you guys then say I give away the best one in one color and no configuration options or limited configurations as in 2 weapons? anyway... here is the offending figure...

Offending Figure:
1. His left hand gets kind of lost (it doesn't stand out) 2. That left leg ... it looks like it got withered in a childhood disease or something. Short and narrow. The left foot also looks narrow and needs a more pronounced heel.
And yet, there seems to be something else. Maybe if you would tweak those items, the other will become more obvious. It's kind of odd that there is something off that is hard to put a finger on.
The textures look great, though

I like very much bottom "full-side-view" figure! Dynamic, action AND great potential for modding! Ad. offending one I would correct (if I may suggest): -definitely helmet (bottom line and especially PIKEL angle! plus change gradients) as it's influencing overall impression -left (ie his left) arm -add some "muscles" perhaps, plus correct hand (palm/gauntlet - should be just a bit longer imho) -there is something wrong with his knees (no, NO ARROW this time! - try to lower and shift (just a little) to the left his left knee? After minor changes figure should be OK Generally - if you can make changes quickly and there is immediate improvement visible during the work - just do it but otherwise - simply abandon figure - there are some figures which are kinda troublemakers and "steals" a lot of time - so often it's better simply start from scratch, but... that's just me

That is a lesson I've had to relearn over and over and over. One paper model that I spent way too much time on was a Corvette. On my first build I totally screwed up the rear glass. So I started over and still messed up the rear glass. So I re-designed the rear glass to be easier to build and it still didn't look right. Re-designed again and it is much better, but still not 'right'.
There were so many things I could have done that would have been a better use of my time.
On the other hand, I now know several methods of modeling the rear glass of a Corvette that need to be avoided.

But ... knees are important things ... and it isn't kind that Mesper jokes about them ... ;D ;D ;D Skyrim is a very great game. Now I'm playing with Amalur and wait for The witcher2. I have abandoned MANY figures... I used them as reference pieces, though. Sometimes it takes more work to "fix" a figure than it does to draw a new one from scratch. Just my observation.

Wait... Witcher 2 is already released (there is even Extended Edition, which is far better than first release), and quite successful cRPG - so probably you are waiting for XBOX Edition - which will be even more extended and tuned. Vide amazing trailer (watch in HD!): =>>> www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-console-the-witcher/726180BTW trailer by T. Baginski, Oscar nomination in the category "Best Animated Short Film": =>>> www.youtube.com/watch?v=msIjWthwWwI&feature=relatedCD Projekt Red Studio already started Witcher 3 developing process (not officially confirmed yet but.. I can assure you! And do I know Geralt?... What a question? - I've red all A. Sapkowski's (original author of IP/Withcher's universe) books - although, frankly speaking I prefer his short stories rather then novel series - plus I met the author personally:) As far as I know there are many translations (English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian for sure - and as for Italian language - some books were published by Casa Editrice Nord, 2011 so probably the rest will be translated soon). But do me a favor - novels/books and both games are excellent - but NEVER EVER ever even attempt watching the Witcher movie or TV-series - those are both pathetic and shameless disasters:)
