Vermin King, that sounds like some improvements and serious modding/playing around with my stuff ! I am happy. Yes, more depth and strength to wheels and axis are worth considering. A good base like the thick ones of Sirrob (foamcore ?) could also help. It's funny: I designed the gun mount to be attached to the BACK of the wheelchair as you mentioned it. But I didn't thought of the shoulder width of the General. To attach the gun on the underside of the chair was a last minute solution I am quite satisfied with. It's not so claustrophobic for the operator of the gun. Of course, he has to lean forward a bit. In this scenario he would push the gun down to get out of the chair. In your scenario he would push the gun up (Gatlings are monster heavy) - or has to crawl under it to get out. Geek stuff, hehe ;D.

Holy cow, this is neat, Shawn ! Looks like a very thought-out model with high quality textures. I like the foldings of the wagon cover. Now everything is playable: defending wagon fortresses against natives or bandits, long trecks of settlers ... .

Amazing stuff here.
It was odd how every few months someone requests Wild West things, and then there is all this.
Everyone should be proud of what was done in a very short time.
Thanks

I love the stage coach and wagon, makes me wish I had time for a Western game. I'm so short on time I had intended to do a few other figures (Mortimer the Undertaker, Fess Boone the old Indian Scout/Mountain Man, Daniel Jacks the Barkeep, and Saloon Sally the Saloon Girl), but never got the time. OK Bukaroos! I've decided to cowboy up and wrestle down this here HOARD. It's been at large for far too long and I've got to show it who's boss. Most of the submissions are fairly straight forward except the link to all those figure backs done by cowboyleland. I will try and list what I think has been submitted so you can tell me if I missed anything: Indian Woman by gilius Chaman & Birds by Reivaj (I need these emailed to me) Smokey & Montana by Dryw Gatling Gunned General by paladin Stage Coach & Wagon by grendelsmother64 As for all those figures in the separate thread, I will try to get them in but it's going to be a major undertaking. I'm going to clean and tab each figure and it will certainly take me quite some time. I'll also be scaling them to ' Sanity Studios Size'. Since I'll be doing this HOARD for a while, if anyone has something 'Wild-West' -ish still to submit you can but get it to me soon.

Hey Nik, I thought when I was doing those backs it would be too much for the hoard. I won't be disappointed if you don't want to put them in. If you do want them in, is there some way I can help (I'm a little pressed for time right now, but I never know when ensomnia will strike)

Hey Chris, Thanks for the offer! If I recall you use GIMP while I'm too much entrenched in Photoshop. I think that may make the HOARD look a bit inconsistent if we mixed the layouts from those two programs. It might be better to do one complete HOARD in only one program.
What could help is to go and make 'last call' on all the HOARDS up to August (give Sept. some leeway since we're not even close to caught up). Really anyone could do that I suppose but it entails getting all the 'publishable' material together for all the submissions. Getting it into one place is actually a bit more work than I thought. Also get any credit/attribution for each work so it can be included on the HOARD. Put this all into a single zip file and now it will be much easier to start on the next HOARD.
No one has to do it but that's just something simple I thought you could do. I will get to it eventually if no one else does.
If anyone does want to try their hand at laying out a HOARD I can post a .psd file (I think GIMP can open those?) of a page so you can get the idea of what it entails.

Hey Nik, I thought when I was doing those backs it would be too much for the hoard. I won't be disappointed if you don't want to put them in... I think I'll leave out the roman looking monsters and the top line of figs in the western ghosts since those don't look very wild-west. Maybe we can put them in on another HOARD that isn't as big.

If anybody sees Reivaj tell him I still need his Chaman and Birds for this HOARD (his email seems to be incorrect).
