I was actually talking about the PDF file itself. The Type82-Recon has the "half wheel" pieces that match the body of the model (as well as a flat wheel piece to go on the outside) and then additionally has a page of 3d wheels. Is it suppose to have 6 wheels squirmydad? Hiya, Yes, it's a six-wheeled vehicle. There should be two files; one is the oversized original with the half-wheels and flat overlays style of wheel. There is an extra page in that file of 3d wheels for people who don't like the half-wheel and flat overlay dynamic, they're not terribly useful with that model though. The second file is the fully 3d, but slightly smaller, version. The guns pictured on the bigger one are not included as they came from an Ebbles vehicle set. -Eric

OK, I got something "For the Hoard!" -- Stunning Modern Battlefield Tank SMART 3D MODELIt is made in SMART 3D MODEL technique which I developed tonight (can't sleep) -- you will be surprised and amazed how fast you can build this model! I'm not quite sure if it is right thread for posting this model... (after reading "Hoard Thanks" as "Hoard Tanks" I was kinda surprised that no tanks inside!) ...but I'm so excited and can't wait your feedback... so just small teaser for now...

I'm not quite sure if it is right thread for posting this model... It's looking cool already but I am trying to finish up this HOARD (since it's a year old). Love to have it in the current June 2012 HOARD.

niklovelandOops... now I'm ashamed and embarrassed... actually it was supposed to be a joke... You know... all this "Smart 3D" teasing etc... I do highly appreciate your efforts in order to make Hoards files -- especially that you have deal with various file formats and quality, you have to rescale all submitted figurines properly, made unified outlines, assemble them with tabs and last but not least combine them all together into one good looking hoard page... hell lot of work! And now I've pop out with this joke... please accept my apologies! BUT... there is also good thing -- this unfortunate tank reminds me about long time ago promised CC Greek Hoplite for "Greek and Roman Era Ancients" Hoard. =>>> Hoplite is finished and submitted: cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=freefigures&thread=3421&page=2#42482Regarding Modern Tank Smart 3D Model Idea was to tease people with this model and then... submit something very simple, with ONLY one thing (antenna) which might be glued and bended -- so it will be no more stricte 2D ;D OK - here is this tank -- it is in fact very quick, draft work based on some newspaper photo... plus I'm afraid that it is not properly scaled... Anyway - maybe someone will find it funny (Smart 3D:) or even somehow useful? Attachments:

It wouldn't take TOO much to make this a 3D model!! You have the hardest part done! I would suggest the following: 1) Remove the turret 2) Place tabs around the border 3) Make a piece that will have the detail for the "body" 4) Do the same for the turret 5) You can use the old "roll the barrel up like a drinking straw" technique for the gun barrel 6) Add a 2D fold-over machine gun for the turret! DONE! See! In the time it took me to write this, you could have made this 3D, if I know you!
