Some of you may remember my first thread on this board with the model of a medieval Veuglaire. (If not it is here.) As the cannon is getting close to being published, it is time for you to meet its crew. These miniatures will be included in the Veuglaire set as a little bonus, but until then they are my submission to Papercuts 2013. Here they are... And now for some action shots...

Totally awesome! I love the detail and each mini has so much character! The facial expressions are great! Did you use reference material for the clothing?

Many thanks for such kind words guys. Did you use reference material for the clothing? I always gather reference material whatever I draw. I like my designs to look authentic (In case of historical works) or at least plausible (in case of SF/Fantasy).

These are amazing!! Have you published anything yet? Other than your concrete barriers?? I have - and aboslutely adore - your Codex Manesse knights.

These are amazing!! Have you published anything yet? Other than your concrete barriers?? I have - and aboslutely adore - your Codex Manesse knights. Not yet. I have many things on my workshop in various stages of development. But for some time I am massively overworked in my primary job. Papercut entries are first papercraft related things I managed to finish in a long time (With exception of barriers update.) and that working at night mostly. The cannon itself will hopefully be published shortly, but don't quote me on that because my professional situation is well... dynamic and I'm not the master of my time .

Wow. Just Wow. Incredible attention to detail, terrific characterizations, rich colour and texture, unique and specialized poses, historical research for accuracy and character depth... No hesitation, this set is my favourite entry of all. [All that being said, I can't resist thinking that the the first thing I would do with this set would be this: Have my PCs encounter the company soldier on their walk home from the pub, late at night in an alley, with him facing to the wall ]
