Im not sure if these have been done but if they haven't I think Im going to do:
- Rust Monster - Carrion Crawler - Hook Horror - Beholderkin - Mind Flayers
After checking out classic DnD Creatures in a search, wow you guys are right there are a lot a critters that haven't been done! These are dungeon crawl classics too!
As a paper miniature, what do you want to see the most (that hasn't been done yet)?

Yup, it's in one of the ez dungeon expansions, IIRC, and he has two beholders (1 retired) in the same line. bravesirkevin has a cube too. Cerberus Illustration does some beautiful old school monsters in its airbrushed style, but most are mirrored backs (check out Total Chaos for the best deal). Onemonk has a beholder, and there is a cube among the dungeon plungin' figures. But with a new edition of D&D, a fortieth anniversary to celebrate, both are ripe for another version. Careful about the IP & naming, though, as neither beholder nor mindflayer are open content (nor displacer beast & 1 or 2 others, IIRC)...

I'd love to see some centaurs, male and female maybe Norkers,Gnolls,Kenku, troglodytes etc. That's funny I googled "classic dnd monsters" and a Kenku came up...I considered making one almost immediately. I wish I could remember which monster manual I first seen one.
I wish I had my original Fiend Folio when I was a kid...I was my prized possession to wreak havoc on my player!

Something I was thinking about was the Modrons of Nirvana. very simple shapes but lots of scope to add a personal touch.

Something I was thinking about was the Modrons of Nirvana. very simple shapes but lots of scope to add a personal touch. You know I love the Planescape Setting which they eventually added the Modrons to after developing it, later on. All that planescape stuff is so great. It inspired Numenera a great deal as well, not sure if you ever checked that out.
But cog-like mechanations is a great idea to have paper minis of...lots of things you can do with that...Steampunk, Deadlands (western), Fantasy, Gothic Horror...so useful actually.
Wow Im getting idea overflow!!!!!

The umber hulk was always a personal favourite of mine. I think One Monk may have one in one of their sets and Eddnic may have a 2.5D one. That and the manticore (though okumarts will be producing one of them if I keep mentioning it enough! lol!!) Mind you I am a long-time RuneQuest and Glorantha fan rather than D&D, so what I would love to see are baboons with spears, barbarians riding bison and rhinos, morokanth (tapir-men), broo (the original goat-headed beastmen), walktapi etc. And yes.... More ducks!!!

okumarts has kenku figures as a bonus layer for one of the Serene Fist sets. I'm pretty sure it was a set with ninjas, as I recall pink ninjas in there, too. I just finished unzipping all of my okumarts sets, and I think the Serene Fist sets will be the next to get cutfiles.

wisdomknight I prefer the more oldschool beholders (more truly alien and ominous), but I really do like the Eye of the Deep, and the fairly recent Eye of Flame is awesome. Goodman Games has The Complete Guide to Beholders (D&D3.5 rules, IIRC), and you can pick it up for $3 on RPGNow. It's great for the illustrations, including beholder variants, anatomy, and minions. They also have some other interesting monsters covered in that series. PS You could always do a gas spore mini - don't think I've seen one of those
