A great hoard indeed.
There were times when it was a hoard every months. Fear gripped me that one day, hoards will be no more.
I am honored that some of my works was accepted in this one. I am in great company.
/ hopes that the the talent of the others will rub off if he keeps close for long enough

I have no doubt that as you work on things, you will be able to accomplish more things.
Just make sure you don't accidentally mess up the program you are doing it with. Last night, I had a cat jump on my laptop while I was putting together grandson photos for my mom to print off. The Tool Options box doesn't stay on top in Gimp any more. Sometimes I have to minimize everything to find it now. Might have to uninstall and re-install

Go to: Windows -> Dockable dialogs -> Tool options It will put it on one of tabbable dialogs around the central (image display) area. Than click on it and drag it to desirable position. |

Nope, won't stay on top, but it does seem to stay there, but if you click on any tool, it still drops behind that window...

I keep my image window smaller than the full screen so the toolbox can always be seen to the side.

Uninstall/Re-install didn't work. I'm sure the mystical docking thing is the answer, but I don't want Tool Options to be a tab, I just want it to be a part of the Toolbox window, like it used to be. Not sure why it would even be an option to undock it to begin with. Well, I'm not going to mess with it any more until I feel better. One would think that the area where it says drag and drop dialog boxes here would be a case of dragging it and dropping it there, but evidently not It used to be like this (from other computer)  And now it looks like this  |

The collected forum Hordes for October and November have just been uploaded to onemonk.com and are waiting for you to download! I've been ridiculously busy at work so regrettably most of the Black Nebula Horde does not have cut-files, sorry.
