So it is okay to post my cardlot repaints on my personal pages, the? That's great! Also, trying to get those fuel drums right now and coming up with realistic-looking mounting gear is not as easy as I thought it would be. Last part to go is always the toughest.

I guess I made it through the month far enough to procratsinate the heck out of the rest of it, too - with the holidays and all. I guess this will not be my forst hoard participation after all... Then again, I need to get my time management sorted out anyway, so... There will always be another hoard, I assume...

When I finish the sekibune, Holiday Beauty and an Angel Tree-topper, I'm going to have to get started building.
@coyotepunc, did you ever get the grazer bugs fixed?

My wife just had her gall bladder out. The sucker was swollen up as big as a hoagie roll! She's home now, but pretty sore and glad that thing is out. I will be thinking about your son, coyotepunc, and will add him to my prayers. Best wishes. If you ever do a regular hopper, let me know. I want to stat one up in Champions and throw a few dozen bugs at some smug superheroes who think they can handle anything. We'll just see how well they can handle this kind of alien invasion, heh, heh.

Ok, so I've researched the Hopper Bugs, and I *can* do it, but it will be more work than I had initially envisioned. But it will look good when I am done. I might have it finishef by the end of the month

Now that the Christmas building is over, I'm trying to wrap my head around what we have for this Hoard at this point.
Pink Warrior Bug Pink Hopper Bugs T-34 Tank (three pages, right?) Pizza Store Robots
Possibly Grazer Bugs, Green and Yellow Hoppers, Counters for Space Marine 2 / NetEPIC / Epic Armagedon / Net Epic Armagedon, Trek Transporter Room and Shuttle Bay?
Have I missed anything? I should maybe take some of these with me over the long weekend

Very good. If you don't have the time, that's okay. We understand yifferman, are the robots supposed to be a little larger than 30mm? I think I'm going to have to break these up into a couple pages to fit in a cutter-friendly format.

I finished the proper counters, but the print size was too big for the Letter paper. Would work for A4 with no problem. I had to remove some of the bonus peaces to make it fit on both. Now I have the image ready, but no energy to make make pdf with registration marks (have not done it before), horde id, short readme etc.
Will try tomorrow.

What I do to get things ready is get the pages so that everything fits inside this outline. Does that help?

It helps immensely.
Quick check tells me the counter sheet is too tall to fit inside the designated area. Even the redacted one with some tokens removed.
It has breathing room enough to print without loss, but I'll have to move the registration marks closer to the edges. Do they (cutter marks) have to be of this size, or can I reduce them?

Hopper Bugs in a more traditional green and yellow: I'm not sure how happy I am with this yet, so I may revise it again. Would it look better with a mid-green on the legs and desaturate the wings a tad? I know what you are saying. Probably wouldn't look bad, but I think the colors are leaning towards 'fluorescent'. Funny that I don't get that feeling on the pink bugs. Probably the pink bugs don't feel that way because of the black on them. I'm pretty sure darkening the green on the legs will be much more satisfying. Or I could be altogether wrong. Wouldn't be the first time

Here it is. LinkI sized it so it can print on both A4 and Letter when it comes to counters. The labels and Cardboard Warriors logo could be snipped off in case of Letter paper. It is an edited set of counters from net-armageddon.org I added up a devastator set for the green ones, and the assault marines for the red ones. Both of them received additional platoon of four Predator tanks, and another one spare. Older edit I made had another unit of assault marines for both parties, and the additional transports for the devastator crews, but no bonus predators. I trimmed it down to current state to enable it universal printing, and to add the predator detachments needed for the training battles. Original files available at net-armageddon.orgYou can use them with various additions of official and fan made rules for the WH40k universe, including: - Space Marine 1/2
- Epic 40k
- Epic Armagedon
- Net Epic
- Net Epic Armagedon
- Heresy
- ...
If anyone is interested I advise to try out the free Tournament Pack (contains all the rules and army lists for Net Epic Armageddon). Get it here. Training scenarios (learning battles) are in section #1.15 page #35

BlackCat13, is the T-34 tank scaled to 28mm or 1:56? Or is it a different size/scale?

What I do to get things ready is get the pages so that everything fits inside this outline. Does that help? I can try to revamp the transporter room into this format, however, I'm not sure, whether the "long" wall will fit. I may then have to edit the waals once more... EDIT: How is this supposed to fit on a US-Letter page? With the boxes touching the edges? I just ask cuz the PNG is wider than LTR... O.O
