Verming King, thank you! I could not even imagine where the three robot figures would bring me thirteen years later The very first three miniatures of the project (10.06.2007) That is why the project is called "steel warriors." Because the first miniatures were robots. And the first topic was called "steelwarriors" on the Junior General forum

Dear Friends! Today is an important event for me - I published the last completed model. The remaining models are under development. So I decided to change my plans - I decided to stop the development of new models and publish the last 17 sets of infantry. It's good to get organised once in a while

alloydog, absolutely Steel Warriors are probably the only thing in which I am organized as much as possible. In real life, I'm a complete razdolbay (lazy unorganized person)

Dear friends!
I haven't written about the project plans for a long time. So I wanted to talk a little about this.
Recently, I completely finished all the work with the infantry of the Steel Warrior world. Now all 36 sets have been uploaded and published. There are still a lot of models that I would like to make, but I decided that I am officially finishing work on the project "Steel Warriors - Battle of the Empire". The reason is simple - over the years, a lot of project fatigue has accumulated. Now I want to switch to other shorter projects. And it also does not mean that there will be no more models for the Steel Warriors - I will gradually finish the entire list, but now this project will not be a priority. I think I will be able to do several models a year.
Over the years, I have accumulated many ideas for small projects that I have long wanted to implement:
1. Free set of miniatures for the game Caliber. 2. Board game about special forces in the setting of the Steel Warriors. I'm not sure if I can make good rules, but I will make good figures for sure 3. The project about the designer of combat robots, I most likely will not develop - almost no one needs paper models in unpopular settings. 4. A set of environments for the world of Steel Warriors (and not only) - it's high time to finish the set with trees and bushes. 5. Soviet board game Admiral, which was developed in the 80s by students of the Institute of Physics and Technology and is based on the rules of Stratego. This is a game from my childhood that I would like to share. The rules are simplified, I have all the materials ready for publication, I only need to translate the rules. 6. Various mini-sets of 2D miniatures on a sci-fi theme. 7. 3 Steel Warriors retro sets - 2010, 2011, 2013

Hi There! New to the forum as of a few minutes ago, and new to your Steel Warriors miniatures as of a little earlier today. First off: Wow! These are great. I've started with the Baarth-Jat and Gaulada and a few other bits and bobs. I immediately started to try and figure out info about the setting. A google search got me here where I discovered you are not developing the setting and are ending the project. Sad for me, on the one hand, because they are GREAT, but OTOH I'm not waiting for new pieces - everything is here! (I'm going to purchase the rest of the products later this evening.) Is there really no "Setting"? Not even a short list of the factions and how they relate? (Or how you envisioned them relating...) (Or is this based on some published work - a video game, perhaps?) That is what I wanted to contact you to ask. Your new projects: I'll certainly follow along. From the looks of it they are starting out at the same high level of design and finish. Best of luck developing them! Best Regards, Howard

It has been quite a journey

Thanks! I did notice that many of the blurbs to his sets contained little tidbits of info, which I have done through and copy/pasted into notepad. Not tried to sort it out, however. I spent the morning trying to access the Never-Ending-Autumn file. Man that is a huge file! (I had to leave it downloading last night when I went to bed. No idea how long it took, it claimed "2 hours" when I left it!) I finally had to clear my desktop of everything to try and get as much available memory as possible before I could even get it to open w/o crashing. Page 29 is the really useful bit - the whole page of wasteland grasses.

Hello, Altfritz Thank you for your kind feedback, I am very glad that someone likes my work. And great thank you for your support! The setting is very complicated. The fact is that I have been developing Steel Warriors since 2007 and somewhere in 2008 I met a man with whom I worked together for ten years. I drew figures, he described them. In general, an absolute symbiosis and synergy. But, unfortunately, nothing lasts forever - we stopped cooperating. Since then I have been publishing non-setting miniatures because it is not my intellectual property. Mine are only miniatures and the most general idea. A lot has been written about the setting. But most of the information about the world of "steels" exists in the form of many disparate files. In 2017, my former partner began to structure information and at the same time translate it into English, but unfortunately the pace of work was too slow. I made a lot of miniatures at a very high speed, which in the end lay a dead weight, and my partner had neither the strength, nor the motivation, nor the time to maintain the required pace. According to my calculations, we could publish everything only after 15 years - I was not ready for that, because I had already spent 13 years of my life at that moment. As a result, we lost the main thread - for me it was a project of life, but for him it was just a hobby that became a burden This project has already become an unbearable burden for me too, I really wanted to remove this stone from my soul - it's very hard to think every day about some paper soldiers. And only after publishing all the miniatures, I felt more or less good. Therefore, there is no setting for the miniatures. All information exists in the form of many files and saved discussion dialogs from the forums, and all this in Russian. I know too little English to translate all this. And also a lot of things we discussed only orally (for example, Alana and Otlok), my former partner did not have time to describe everything "on paper". Now I do not set any global goals for the Steel Warriors. I decided to make miniatures sometimes, because it is pleasant and interesting, but without fanaticism.
