I am very sorry for the huge files. It was a huge field and I put high quality images for professional printing. When I was collecting the file, my computer was also terribly laggy, since then I refused to make new playing fields (I also wanted to make a field with a bunch of artillery craters, a kind of battlefield)

About the tanks. The best tanks in the world of the Steel Warriors are Ensar-Shail, Ash-Rohr and Kenshert (no model yet).
Gungsar-Shail, Arshet and Khenasa-Shel have advantages and disadvantages.
1. Gungsar Shail is a more advanced version of Ensar Shail. It would be absolutely perfect, but it has a significant drawback - Gungsar-Shail is too expensive a tank for the post-apocalyptic economies of the countries of this Universe. It is difficult to repair in the field, consumes too much fuel and is difficult to maintain. This is an elite tank, of course, but the wunderwaffe does not win postapocaliptic wars.
2. Arshet is a great heavy tank, but there are too few of them, it also consumes too much fuel and is too expensive for Keno's economy. But it is easy to maintain due to its more primitive design. Also, Arshet does not have a stabilizer on the main gun and therefore cannot fire on the move.
3. Henasa Shel is the worst heavy tank of all three. It was designed as a response to Arshet, but in the end it turned out to be a very expensive and very slow tank. He has excellent armor, but a very weak chassis, as well as a rather weak weapon (the more powerful one could not be placed due to exceeding the weight limit). As a result, this is an almost useless tank, much like Maus, but only with a weaker cannon.

Still downloading files! When I decided to buy "the lot" I didn't realize there were around 60 files in all! I reckon I'm about 1/2 done. I'd be finished except for the @#$%&! timeouts every now and then. I really like the irregulars, but those Otlok Lizards are pretty cool as well! I took a quick look at JuniorGeneral.org but couldn't see your old robots. Are they buried somewhere deep on the site, or does stuff cycle through there fairly quickly? Also, can I ask where the trees shown in your previews are from? PS. Merry Christmas! Best Regards, Howard

Merry Christmas! The thread with the steel warriors on the junior general was a long time ago, back in the old forum. Previously, it was still possible to find it, but no longer. I ran this thread from June 2007 to 2009. The first miniatures were robots, which is why the project is called "Steel Warriors". A set with trees, bushes and natural covers is planned, and in the near future. After Linkas I am planning another helicopter, and after that - a set with trees. Now I am still making plans for next year.

I am very sorry for the huge files. It was a huge field and I put high quality images for professional printing. When I was collecting the file, my computer was also terribly laggy, since then I refused to make new playing fields (I also wanted to make a field with a bunch of artillery craters, a kind of battlefield) I really like the base ground pattern but think snow fields and oil slicks (and craters) should be separate items so that each board can be different. If your Never-Ending Autumn board page 29 (IIRC) is a plain ground pattern so I've used that to order a custom printed blanket (60" x 80") from some online place. No idea if it will work or if I'll will just end up as a brown blanket. I loaded the pattern into PowerPoint on a custom sized slide as big as I could make it 56" x 40" (I think 56" x 56" is the largest.) Then I output that as a png file and used that as the upload photo. The site's software automatically fit it to the max blanket size - or seemed to anyway - so hopefully there won't be much distortion. I couldn't get it to zoom in, and at that point I could no longer make out the pattern, so fingers crossed I haven't wasted 90 bucks CAD (after UPS shipping). Theoretically I should [might?] end up with something like the Cigar Box Battles products, which are really nice but the one I ordered was like $150 USD after shipping to Canada - ouch! So nice, but not THAT nice! If this works I'll be making my own custom mats. If it works, I'll make snowfields and slicks, craters, etc to go on top. Looking forward to your Tree Set!

Canada, eh? Don't mention that too often, if people figure out how many of "us" there are around here they will start to think we are going to take over.

Дима, я очень рад что проект жив! Подскажи, где можно будет приобрести твои работы? На ваулте они сейчас, увы, недоступны.

I am afraid that Tomoko has not been on the site for a while ( Last Online: Mar 13, 2022 at 11:24am ), probably part of the Putin-idiocy. I am assuming that is why his Wargame Vault is down. I wish this nonsense had never happened
