An ATV that sits higher than the vault sides. I'd be more inclined to modify that Honda Beachcomber than try to do the Tesla one. www.honda.co.jp/philanthropy/beach/pcraft/I think some sort of weaponry would be more fun than that I wish I could find images of the ATV from Firefly. This little guy is of a similar shape EDIT -- Found one

Well, I figured the odd tread pattern was there for a reason and that the tread would be directional, like on race cars. But... I made right and left tires, but that isn't necessary, since they didn't do it on the real thing. Or I could leave it as is

Let it look like an old school Euro model. There was nothing wrong with those. (Or if there were problems, crowding wasn't the biggest one.) Okay, here you go, the old school Euro Cybertruck paper model I know what I will be working on tonight

There is nothing wrong with that! It is on my "Build Someday" list.

Might I suggest a blue police version? I like the concept of a Police Interceptor version of this. 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds is insane. This render is how I am leaning, only in your blue I like the idea of the lightbar built into the top lights, but on the lower ones, I think narrower, allowing for headlights on either side. Are you wanting this marked in any particular style of livery?

I like them to say "POLICE" on the side. I'll post a pic later. I'm at work right now.

Do you have a particular metropolitan area in mind? I assume you want all the D.A.R.E. and 911 stuff on there, too. If you can find a police car that you like, see if you can get a license plate. Around here, every law enforcement agency has specialized plates.

Vermin King, I use my stuff for a futuristic setting that has a nostalgia. Here is what my Cricket police cruiser looks like.

Of course the cybertruck is more like the ground cars, but if I turn it into a 2-door, that would give it more space to add spinner-esque details. The model above won't get us close. I might make it into a traditional police car, but I think I can make a version that will be closer to what you are looking for Spinner wheels on the front, lower smooth fenders on the rear and a part that resembles the intake. Vertical headlights might help. hmmm

Didn't want to waste the work on the other one, so I finished it up in Independence, Missouri livery EDIT -- @punkrabbit, I'm assuming you want the less complex version without a bed, right?

I will do one without the vault then. I was looking at images of the new spinner, that Dodge, and actual photos of the original spinner at Gene Winfield 's customizing shop. I certainly have some ideas. Is it okay to lose the tonneau cover and make the back end more spinner -like?

I was playing with the Spinnertruck over lunch today and decided the best way to keep it as a Blade Runner Cybertruck may be to just put extensions out of the front fenders like this Not with all the gizmos, but to have a lighted (white) swoop that extends over the front spinner wheels and look like vertical headlights at the front end. The back end is coming together nicely, but it is a bit of a slow process

Not much done over lunch. I think whether this is 'successful' or not will depend on how I handle the front fenders. The right side will be a modified mirror of the left. Modified because all that verbage will have to me re-mirrored to be readable

Thanks I went ahead and did the right side (so far), that will make it easier to do the area that will no longer have the tonneau cover. I want to add the vertical pylon thingy with the one light on it and then I will do mini light bars for either side.

All I'm saying, man, is that you went from this: to this: in just four forum pages. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Frankly, I feel like I'm leaning towards the dark side on this. The Spinner is such an icon, but on the other hand, it seems like someone needs to try. Just like the Cybertruck is a total rethinking of the truck, this is a strange project that may turn into a waste of time, but I want to see what I can come up with. And I totally expect that my first version of this will be disappointing and will need revision, but hopefully it won't take another four pages.
I have a number of things that I think will improve the final product. 1. I think it needs to sit lower 2. I originally thought of having the top of the fender following the line of the crease between the body and the greenhouse, but the more I look at the original Spinner, the fender needs to extend out parallel to the ground. 3. I also wanted to keep the Cybertruck front end between the fender extensions, but that idea needs to die a quick death. I'm trying to decide how I want it to look between the fenders, but the original lines will not work. I don't know the best way to describe my current idea.
Even if this idea dies, I still have to be pretty satisfied with the removable top version and the IndepMO version.

Adjusting the greenhouse height won't be difficult, but it will change the angles on the hood and front end. As much as I would like to work on the vault tonight, I think I will fix the height issue. Coming off my successful front end is probably the best time to do it with the new geometry, before I forget how I did this one. But I am not losing this version. I think this one will be the basis for my cyberpunk version Lowering the ride height definitely helps, but I am thinking the sleeker old version might improve the looks of the Spinnertruck

I know how to do the fender extensions right. I will try to post it tonight.

My plan was to have the inner part of the extension go back halfway to the original end of the vehicle and then angle to the front of the car with a triangular piece that covers over. The inner parts will be done in a charcoal grey, but I think it should look 'busy' with lots of doodads. And of course have the big rectangular light at the bottom of the center.

Well, last night I dropped off without saving my work. When I woke up, I simply closed my computer, so when I posted that this morning, it wasn't where I was. Since this design is going to require two little triangle pieces to fill in the space behind the front fender, I think I would be very interested in seeing what you came up with, Punkrabbitt

Vermin King, OK, basically I did away with the diagonal corners and made the front end closer to the wind shield. Then I made the front protrusions as a box that folds around the bottom. Mostly I just just chopped and pasted your stuff to keep the basic colors but on the new shape. This is just a quick and dirty job to show what I am thinking, I;m not sure everything would fold and fit just right.

I like that concept, but it still has my issue I created. I have the extension starting above the join point. That leaves a gap. My fault. I need to rethink something
EDIT --
What you did gives me the idea of the fix. Slice the fender extension back to where the error would start and then have the top part of the extension cover the gap. I might do this up tonight 'roughly', so I don't forget how it can be done, but I now have collected images of five of the Verne Journey to the Center of the Earth extinct animals. I am going to be down in Tulsa for a very big hunk of next week, and I will be trying to fit a week of work into two days. I'll be able to pick up voicemails and emails while I am gone, but will have limited time to do my regular business and less time for myself
