Let's call this thread a placeholder. A long-term project that I am sure I can use assistance with, but it is screaming at me to do. Frankly, something I keep getting reminded of. It is along the lines of the Toppi Saloon concept, cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/thread/10008/toppi-saloon-kitbashI took two of Sergio Toppi's playsets and turned them into a 3d model with playable interiors. This time, I want to combine Tommygun's Space Hopper, cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/thread/2510/first-3d-vehicleAvailable in the Downloads, www.onemonk.com/tommygunstoybox-notbuildings.htmlwith shep's Moonhopper/Shuttle, cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/post/96548/threadAvailable in the Downloads, www.onemonk.com/shepsplethoraofplaythings.htmlShep also modded some of okumarts's figures for Space 1999 and also did some Lunar Base interiors, also available at www.onemonk.com/shepsplethoraofplaythings.htmlAnother case of having all the parts available, but have to figure out how they can work together, and access. I also want to work out the front of Tommygun's hopper to look more like the Eagle It should be a case of using magnets, which I have never used and can use some explanations from folks who do use them. Does this need the Neodymium magnets, ceramic magnets, or magnetic sheets? Ideas and advice are welcome. This may be a case of breaking things up and having others doing sections. What do you think?

If you're going for fidelity to the original show, Dave Winfield did an Eagle transport in his Kool Wheelz series of models.

Thank you for the reminder. I had almost forgotten that one (in all honesty, I did forget it)
Overall, I like Tommygun's hopper, but for this project I wanted to create a more visually correct nose.
Jay's had a Hawk, also, but I really wish I'd seen a build of it.
Domatine has an Eagle, but way too simplified. But the nose looks good.
Also, PaperToyBox has an Eagle

Back in the day, SPACE 1999 was my favourite TV show. I got the comics, annuals, some models and even the lime-green icelolly with googey red centre. Shame it's all been lost to the ravages of time. Every September 13 th, I raise a glass to our dear departed moon. I think I'll go through the downloads section and knock up some nostalgia. Just found this: tektonten.blogspot.com/2011/08/space-1999-papercraft-eagle-transporter.html

Ah, the Frohicky one. Hmm, I thought I'd placed links to all the Eagles that I know of.
Unfortunately, it won't happen today.
I certainly wish that the Frohicky Eagle was arranged easier to download all the files.
I really like the Domatine Eagle, too.

I certainly wish that the Frohicky Eagle was arranged easier to download all the files. It wasn't that too hard to download, just had to do about nine images. However, they are quite small jpg files and print up quite small, too small for me to cut up and build. I tried scaling them up, to fit A4 paper, but each image is also a different size, so don't scale up the same amount: I think I will use it as a basis to do a vector image and then trawl the net to get things like detailed images and specs to get the size and proportions right.

I imagine that AirDave's graphics would scale up better than on most of the available models. I have never had an issue with scaling up anything of his, and I have gone 'stupid big' on some things. Hopefully tonight I can get the links posted for some of the other models. I'm banned from Zealot.com, but that is where you can find Jay's Hawk Mk 9 (one of the bigshots there and I had words over the way he treated some of the members. I should have kept trying to deal with it in personal messages, but when he kept making 'being a newbie' into a crime, I finally started dealing with it in the threads. Oh, well. Their loss)

I was able to download the images in full size resolution, by clicking the arrow below the images, on the right. I'm also member of Deviantart, so I imagine you can't download without being logged...

I guess so - All I could download was images with "fullview" in the title and were about a third the size of A4 paper:
