I'm also tempted to lump a couple together that might require discussion -- Wild West Circus. Circuses generally have a fantastic, Bohemian feel to them, even out west (maybe especially in the Old West). Not sure if it works. But if it did work, we'd have the best of both worlds. Wild west shows, rodeos, and circuses all have a similar asthetic to them, sounds like a great mashup to me!

Can we really go two years without Traditional Fantasy or Medieval? what about a theme featuring characters from podcasts/youtube/twitch shows such as aquisitions inc. or criticalm role? might be a way to get some traction towards our medium and this bunch of creators in particular. understand that D&D isnt everyones cup of tea but its really grown in the last couple of years, and paper minis are making something of a resurgance in that thanks to Kev, jess, Dave and Marshall.

Okay, feeling bumped... I too think that there are many great fantasy minis and sets available through the past hoards and the other download options here. And on top of that, you get plenty of links to great sets outside this realm, which cost, as we here in Germany put it, "an apple and an egg". So, even someone on a budget will be able to buy for example any deluxe set from Kev's Lounge, or any given set from Okumarts. Therefor, I'd vote for underrepresented themes like the carnival/circus, retro future, explorers and such in a Jules Verne/A.C. Doyle style, and Meso/South America (esp. since the RPG "Dragons Conquer America" ( burning-games.com/dragons-conquer-america/) will be out soon)... Btw, I like that the Moon Landing and the Wild West are already set, and I especially like them where they are. If they show the moon landing on TV like they did 10 years ago (meaning in real time from take off to touchdown), I will have plenty time to build the models and minis from the hoard... oh! Circus would be a great theme!

I just dont care for patrick closteau's minis at all. His artwork looks rushed and simplistic and the coloring is substandard.

I got into paper minis because I already had a small amount of drawing skill, and didnt want to invest time and money into learning how to paint resin miniatures. I sculpted a good many of my own out of super sculpty, and while I was quite happy with the results I could print and cut out nearly a hundred paper minis in the time it took to sculpt one. Maybe even make a half dozen original ones if I could ever manage to finish any. I like the portability, quickness to make, and versatility of paper minis, plus I've made a lot of friends in the community. Paper minis arent as popular as standard ones, and while it's nice to see the medium pick up steam and grow, I enjoy the close knitness of the community and how it's easy to know or at least know of nearly everyone whose an active enthusiest.

Just get the clear plastic from some clamshell packaging and cut it out in a silhouette that you like. I've been using that stuff to make my minis look like their flying for a couple years now

He has neve said the construction system was his original idea only the artwork. He has not copied any of the WWG only made a product that is comparable with it.
I'm astonished how people who have not been a part of this community for quite some time come in all aggressive and accusing at people who are creating things, participating in the community and contributing, but I guess it's easier to pop on and troll than to actually build a terrain system.

All TerrainLinX files are protected by copyright. This means that you cannot use them, or any part of them, to produce your own compatible material.
The TerrainLinX system is Trademarked, which means you cannot use the name.
The TerrainLinX format cannot be patented due to previous existing 'cut and glue' paper-works. It's not a unique enough property.
So, you can make your own TLX-style material, but it has to be completely from scratch and not use any WWG resources or names.
This is what paper realms has done, it is perfectly legal and ethical to make a set of paper posts and walls that are comparable with another system. No worldworks games graphical assets or trademarked names are being used.
I am baffled why people keep deciding to be whistleblowers on such a non issue especially with someone who has such apparent contempt for his fans like Denny and has essentially abandoned his product line, yet refuses to sell it to anyone.

I've used name badge labels for item cards to had out during d&d games, I think these would work well if you have plenty of the materials available. Printing them on cardstock and spraying with a bit of clearcoat might work just as well though, those labels can get pricy
