I am blown away - and not just because it's really windy here.
The Source look like they have some organic components to them, Do they?

Have a great vacation, Squirmydad! Hope you're going somewhere where it's nice and sunny and warm! (And not windy!)

Wow! I like the brown now, the Ruskin shows up much better now and nothing is lost. Now, I'm a purple girl, it's my favorite color, but your Source creature is blending into the background, is that intentional? If so, then, BINGO! To my mind you got it! If not then, look through your earlier versions, I seem to remember that you had one with a lighter shade of purple. I think that would work, too.
Really gorgeous!

WOW! The wind is really blowing here in 'Sunny Spokane'. If it blows any harder we won't be in Kansas...er, Spokane anymore! In fact it feels as though our poor little trailer (I mean mobile home) will get picked up and into the next county with the next good gust of wind! Any way, with a little luck, I'll have some pictures to show you of what I've been up to over the last few days. That is if I'm not blown away before then!

The brown is a good background for the Rushkin, just lighten it a bit to show her off more.

Now I know what is different. It's the brown background, it wasn't brown before, right? The character in that panel kind of gets lost, especially next to that beautiful and intense purple. That's why I was talking about moving the purple. But, instead, maybe if the brown were a little lighter (perhaps more of a golden brown)? That's all I was thinking about.
Your work is so vibrant and beautiful, I hate to see any of it get 'lost' because of placement or color tone.
The more I hear of your stories the more I want to hear! You spin a good yarn!

Thank you for those tips. I'll look in my local thrift stores for an old tough blender. Would it help, do you think if I soaked the torn up egg cartons first to get them good and soft?

We all understand, Cowboyleland. My granddaughter posted on her FB page yesterday that she has been alive for 1-1-01, 2-2-02, 3-3-03 (all Grand Bonsa Bottller Days) etc. We corrected her because she was born 3-17-01.
I've been privileged to watch a lot of history happen. I find myself saying "I can't believe it's been x number of years since that happened" a lot.
As far as that goes, I was born the same year as the '57 Chevy and have seen all the Grand and regular Bonza Bottler Days since. Don't know about Bonza Bottler Days? Google it. It's a real holiday.

Your back story for Molly makes me want to play this game!
The emblems are perfect. The backgrounds now show off the characters to advantage(Molly's sash is now identifiable), But the order... Well, this is what I would do: Move the Source figure to the far left next to the Core of Humanity(red and purple compliment each other nicely)and turn the Ruskin to face left and leave her(?)in the far right position. Instead of having them in the far right and far left positions, move them in so that they are in the #2 & #4 positions. Leave the rest facing forward.
Just my thoughts.
Your work is beautiful.

BTW: Love the book marks! Thanks! I will put them to good use.

Thanks, Squirmydad. Cracks in the tower, why didn't I think of that? The add-on is as yet unfinished, a door handle and some reinforcement there are next. And guess what? I have a piece of Styrofoam I was planning on mounting it to, plus I happen to have moss laying around here, somewhere...now where did I put that? I really do love the idea of the cracks. I know what I'm doing tomorrow... Thanks for the great ideas!

Molly sounds like my kind of gal. As to what I am on about with her skirt, turns out it's the blue sash. Being the same color as the background, it looks like it is the background and all Molly's secrets will be given away if she moves that sword! Ooops!
I agree the background colors and hand painted, almost smoky effect are gorgeous, but the green background should go either lighter or darker so the green guy doesn't get lost. Also the symbols should be the same size and the borders should be the same type, but in corresponding colors. (my vote goes to the border type around Molly, with it's almost metallic look - that's sharp and simple, doesn't detract from your art.
Let's see...the harpy lady? (4th from the left) Is she in scale with the others? She still looks kind of big to me, or it that just me?
Great work! Very impressive.

There is a mathematical progression between your age, my age and Steve's age; in that order. Steve is a year younger than my ex and you were 4 years old when I got married the first time. Iwas 10 when we were the first people on the block to get a console color TV. It was huge and had a record player and radio in it as well.
I got my first computer when my oldest child was 3 years old. It had DOS. Do you remember DOS and floppy disks?

Thank you all so much for the info. I am on a really tight budget, so buying spray adhesive, well, I'll wait until summer when I can use it outside.
Paint both sides? I'll try that.
Never thought of using meat trays, Cowboyleland. Hmmm. I don't use get many of them, but I'll start keeping what I do get.
As far as size goes, I buy 2'x3' sheets of foamcor from the dollar store, then I glue my pieces to the sheets (largest pieces so far 2"x10" and 6" square), trying to use the space as economically as possible, Then I cut them apart when dry. But it is frustrating when your corridors bend up so you end up with a wave effect.
I'll try your suggestions and buy the spray adhesive this summer.
Again, thank you all.

Please, help stop the bends!
I have tried many ways to stop foam board from curling/bending when laminating/gluing tiles on to create dungeon floors and corridors. I've used stick glue, thickened wood glue, thinned wood glue, laying then on a flat surface with heavy books on top to weigh them down. Still, I get the curves and the bends! It's very frustrating!
Any helpful hints would be very much appreciated.

Could you change the color of the cloth draping the front of Molly's skirt*? It gets lost in the background color making it look like her skirt is way shorter than it actually is, leaving almost nothing to the imagination! *My husband would shoot me for pointing this out to you. Again I say " MEN!"

Love the props you mentioned and the B&W line drawing! But leave the textures, like the wood grain and such.
The inverted cone or a cylinder within a cylinder would work, it just depends on what would be easier to build and which is aesthetically more pleasing. (Actually I think the cylinder within the cylinder wins out in on both counts) But those are your decisions.
I eagerly await your modifications!
