Seems that my internet is lagging :-)
I saw your posting after my entry but I think it could be useful to post it here directly in the EDDNIC forum for papaerecrafters like me, that are not on this site every day... just started the cutting for the new minis by the way...

Hi everybody, just in case you need an rpg randomizer, perhaps this card deck is an option: www.drivethrurpg.com/product/125685/The-GameMasters-Apprentice-Base-DeckThere is a short explanation directly on the product page (14 randomizers on one card). I tried it and it is even possible to create impromptu charakters and plots beside the dice randomizers (we played a complete short random scenario only with this cards). Of course this cards have an other focus than yours tonsha. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

1) Sopwith Info: I think Sopwith is the best 2D Flight Simulator ever. 6 Planes (Germans against Britains) try to shoot the other party down. Very simple programming-mechanism a la Robo Ralley without cards. The gameboard is a simple hex-grid with 9 hexes each side. The problem is that you need planes, that are sometimes stackable and not that big (i think the hexes xan ba max. 3cm wide). It's published in the 70th. See: www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2105/sopwith. But don't use the markers for the game! Use the chart that you can download on BBG! 2) I build a heroquest 3D board with my own wall system (that I still haven't published here because of the time it takes), where I simply fold a double wall an tuck the walls together with no glue, just with a kind of zig-zag and slits. I don't know if this could help, because I did'nt find a picture of the material you need, sorry.

That is the reason why I started my papercraft hobby. I searched for a possibility to pimp my old Sopwith boardgame (highly recommended). And well... I am still looking for usable components to create this game in 3D and practical transportable... The Hunt sounds funny but it seems not available in germany or as pdf :-(
Greetings! Wiesel

I was a little bit late for the golden age of papercraft. I do papaercraft for about 1,5 years now (and it all starts with The Maiden) per accident because I searched for terrain to build a 3D Sopwith boardgame (an golden oldie of the 70th... I simply liked to pimp it but still searching for the right material) and I stuck to this hobby because it's extremely cheap to produce (my last calculation was a prinitng cost of only 4 - 6 Euro-cent per page) and there is so a great community with loads of ideas, tips and real kindness (thank you all for that)! I am no good painter (tried to paint some orc miniatures for Blood Bowl some years ago... it was a horrible and fiddeling experience...) so It's better for me to print in colour and to fold it flat for storage. I have no grafik skills with gimp or so but can do a lot of "hardware" kitbashing with paper that would be impossible for me with plastic. I think paper has a lot of advantages in comparison to other material. I am a boardgame fan and it's funny to see the faces of other players when they see what is possible to do with paper (EDDNIC is one of my heroes by the way) and often say that this paper stuff is much more interesting to play with than with plastic. Happy Holidays to all!

It seems, tat Once upon a time, there was a WWG fansite with loads of kitbashes, even football pitches: wwgf.wikifoundry.com/ But the links don't work anymore (i'd like to see the adbventures for the harbourmaster for example...) :-(
