uptrainfan89 thanks for the build pictures. If I can give you a bit of advice? Wrap the curved bits around a pencil, pen or similar small circular object the get a nice curve on them.

I'm definitely going to have to try that, that's a good idea, thanks for the advice highlandpiper, it definitely helps a ton, Lol. ;D Lol, yea I had a bit of trouble as you can tell getting a good curve to those strips, lol.  Edit: I think I'll try that trick on the next shield drone. I was thinking about modding one anyways with two antennas to see how it looked, Lol. |

Ok Highlandpiper, I tried out your trick for rolling the strips on a pen/pencil and I have to say that was one amazing idea. I think this drone turned out better than my last couple builds, it really gives more of that rounded appearance! Definitly thanks a ton for that tip! ;D Ok so here's the shield drone I tried it out on. I also modded it with a second antenna. I think it turned out really well!   Lol, now all I need is a brown sniper drone and I have a set to use with GunCrawl, Lol. I also have to decide how I want the shield drone stats to be in GunCrawl and how its shield will work without being too powerful. I still like to have a challenge in the game, Lol. |

It looks great! I have some really bad new for you. My computer just died. I mean really dead. It will be at least six weeks before I can afford another one. I knew this was happening I was just hoping it would last another six weeks. I do have an external back up drive so at least my important files are okay. I wish I would have backed up my Firefox book marks

Will you have to start from scratch then on the drones or was the main stuff like white builds and such backed up? Also It's no problem, I can wait, Lol. |

Hey was just wandering if there was any new updates on the drones or if the project got put on hold for the time being?  Also if it did get put on hold is there any chance at getting the matching brown sniper drones and worker drones, that way there is one set for the time being? |

I wish there was a tutorial on how you get it to look the way you do and that good! Is the render clouds filter one of the filters you use in photoshop to get that kind of grunge looking texture? |

Thaught I'd post some more build pictures of the drones, along with a control station and character cards I built last night. I must say the drones are easy to build, which really makes them a fun model. Lol, now I'm just debating what to use for a flight base. They are definitly going to be put to use in GunCrawl when they're all finished! ;D   Sorry if the pictures are not that great, it was night and was taken with my phone camera (since it was the closest camera to me at the time, Lol). |

These guys are wonderful. I don't know if you guys send out Christmas cards, or have relatives that do, but the clear plastic box lids are suitably heavy plastic to use in the bases for these. Being clear and strong is very nice. They do tend to reflect too much, but like Lucas said about the smudge under the speeder, 'that's just the force at work'
