Oh yeah… the question… Is there any female characters you would like to see?

Oooh yeah, she dragons! okumarts, I was just perusing this thread and looking at your work, fabulous! You have a real flair. I picked up your free intro set a little while back and will be using it in my game this Sunday. It will be the first time I've used mini's instead of odd ball tokens like glass blobs and wooden beads and such. My husband will be replacing his miniature Coleman lantern with an actual Wizard mini this weekend, and I'm giving that cute little running elf from your free set to my elf rogue, as well. I noticed someone mentioned a Githzerai. Any hope of seeing one of those at any point? My heroes will be rescuing one from the Yuan-ti next month (hint, hint) You do great work! When I get some money, I will be buying some more of your stuff.

Oh yeah… the question… Is there any female characters you would like to see? How about some Kitsune (Japanese Fox-spirit women), assorted halflings with frying pans & rolling pins, Ladies of the Red Lantern, Norse women, Sword & Sorcery style Sorceress: no staff just pointing or glowing effect on hands, maybe a wavy dagger... Female cultists in robes with daggers and clubs. Female warriors in NON-sexy armor, Female clerics/druids...

How about female elven and dwarven rogues, clerics and sorceresses ( ? ) on the character side and a swamp witch, banshee, lady vampire and several female merchants and barmaids on an NPC bonus sheet? (Though a female dragon with slight make-up and long eyelashes might just do the trick... )

Looking at your sketches: it looks like you need to get out of your comfort zone and draw a figure with a static pose

I am working on something that may require me to make a dedicated Duck paper mini set. How do these things happen?

I am working on something that may require me to make a dedicated Duck paper mini set. How do these things happen? Maybe it was my son's birthday wish as he blew put his candles? Somebody wanted more minis for their game of Quatica? (It's a game of stevelortz 's; put out by Skirmisher Publishing, IIRC)

Eventually. I don't know where my drawings are to scan. I just moved and my art studio is just being re-assembled.

It'll be something like this. Of course, miniature sized friendly art… this is an illustration for a class book I'm working on.

Oh I like that! Not-quite the miniature dragonman-style that we have grown used to in recent years!!

migibb, these kobolds are great stuff. Thanks for sharing them. I would still really love to see the long awaited kobolds from our okumarts too.

Don't thank me - I'm just the messenger boy!! I have tried to send Marshall (whose blog it is) a link to this site, but Tumblr can be a bit temperamental so I don't know if he got it. But hopefully he will show up and give us more of an insight into his figures.

the pic from okumarts of the kobold above reminds me a little bit of the Mangalores warrior race from 5th element

I would love to see some women characters that had less 'traditional" body types. Less super model with impossibly proportioned breasts or huge muscle bound arms and maybe a few thicker/stockier types.

High Elves, Dark Elves, and Treemen are now out! Plus with extra minis for those who backed the Lord Zsezse KS, of course. They're excellent minis, as expected, and I really liked the extra leafy terrain elements with the Treemen set (that's one large set to download, at circa 105 MB!). Also impressed with the way you can turn on more than one layer and get extra colour variations for the sets of minis, though I suspect others than the High Elves set may end up too dark to print properly this way. Worth testing, even so!

That colour interaction is what makes the files bigger.
