The core material for the Kickstarter has been out for a few years now. Extras and add ons are what's slowing me down for sure. Is there something in particular that you are waiting for? Remaining Items: 1. The RPG is being edited and a bunch more stat blocks were added. I am pretty hopeful that it will be the end of this month. 2. The adventures ballooned to four books instead of the three. The remaining two are coming up for July. 3. Really, that leaves the game cards for the other genres and I will have the Retrospace ones just about there and that provides the template to complete the others. The cards are slow, picky work so end of the summer (August).

Yup, here's what, following your answer and trying to sort it out Remaining Items: 1. The RPG is being edited and a bunch more stat blocks were added. I am pretty hopeful that it will be the end of this month. Is the RPG this one? If yes, then ok, is one of the things i miss. I'll wait. 2. The adventures ballooned to four books instead of the three. The remaining two are coming up for July. Which are these: AFAIK, you published "The Kingdom of Richard" and "The Ghost Wood". I see there's stats in the appendix for DFD but seems material for your RPG game, not DFD, also 'cause: Three complete dungeon adventures for Darkfast Dungeons including all necessary backstory, maps, walls, minis and game cards. These scenario packs go way beyond one night of adventure adding new characters, monsters, spells, tiles, walls and content to really flesh out the world of Darkfast Dungeons. Digital PDF format. The adventure PDFs contains the story and the world maps (i thought that you meant "tiles" in the KS, but this is my fault). Still, no minis/game cards. 3. Really, that leaves the game cards for the other genres and I will have the Retrospace ones just about there and that provides the template to complete the others. Some of the minis came out in other sets, etc. The maps will be printable as tiles as well. I'll be doing this for the three advertised, although minis for Kingdom of Richard were also made. 3. Really, that leaves the game cards for the other genres and I will have the Retrospace ones just about there and that provides the template to complete the others. Yes, and that is on-going as well. I feel good about the Darkfast stuff timeline considering the upheaval that occurred in real life. The Save the Day stuff will include two gear books for July, Two city books for August and the mini customizers. Then I can attack anything else left on the STD list.

I'm just pleased that I've finally got everything on a reasonable calendar now and real life is settled a bit, but you never know. Last summer was supposed to be smooth sailing and then my daughter ended up in a coma and I had to live in Montreal for three weeks. Life is nuts.

Sorry to hear that, totally missed the trouble about your daughter. I hope, she's well again?
How do they say in Aussie-land? Life's a beach! Sometimes it makes you stop and count the sand grains... ^^

Thanks. It's been a challenging year, but I think she is doing much better. It's difficult that she lives 7 hours away and isn't very good about keeping in touch. I'm just trying to be "that annoying parent". Anyway, the main thing is that she is doing better and I'm glad. I've been working to get these things done. I've even written up and playtested both remaining adventures, but it's finding the time to edit and make the changes that is the challenge.
No excuses though, I am pretty confident the RPG will be out for the end of the month and then I will have two Gear books for STD to finish, then the Sinister Cities models, then the WIlderness set, The Cards for DFD, followed by two city books for DFD. Whew. Still not done then, but well through what I need to do. There are other things in the mix as well, but I'm aiming to have stuff done by Fall.

It might be to late to mention this... but you should probably avoid using STD to refer to Save the Day. Just sayin'.

Just as a general note, I am very much looking forward to all this, whenever it's ready and whatever form it arrives in. But take care of your family first, always. I've got plenty on my hard drive that hasn't been printed yet, so I'm good for a while!

Dude...with what's happening to my eyes, I think us 1970s vets are going to be switching to 45mm... My eyes aren't the best, too. However, switching to 15 mm has a practical reason. I run many games at conventions, and I don't own a car. So, travelling by train, I have to keep my luggage light. Scaling down from 30 to 15 mm, I can put 24 x 24 inch encounter maps as 12 x 12 inch tiles in my pilot's suitcase, right next to the STA GM screen of the same size... Instead of a binder full of minis plus a box full of stands, I have a 4 x 6 x 1 inches box with about 50 or 60 minis... Also, I know what everything looks like, it's the players that need magnifying glasses...

The RPG is done and editing should mean it is out before Friday. The Adventures are next. I have the Bugbear's Crown about 50% there and I am laying out The Demon's Claw.

It's been more than 5 years from the KS launch. And i'm still waiting for stuffs promised at that time, then after some months by mail, then after some years by PMs, then here. Meanwhile you publish new things on patreon, which seems to me they were conceived well after the KS (but i may be wrong). Do i sound upset? Yes, i am. We're talking about 5 or 6 dollars of added content to the main game and i know it's nothing both of us needs to live, still i could have been more happy to give to you that money as a gift than to know that i had to wait 5 years for something that obviously you already have put on infinite hold. Maybe i was the only one that bought that stuffs, so i'm the only one complaining. Dunno. I now consider the KS production terminated, so i now go for a pro-printing service for what i already have and finally play this game. Not happy, but at least not waiting anymore.

Parduz,
I don't think you are the only one that isn't happy about the adventures. I gave it a go and produced two books, but that doesn't seem to be what people want or felt they were getting so I think it's up to me to make this right. I think your requests have been the clearest and most articulate so I will give it another go, this time expanding the tabletop game as opposed to the role-playing aspect of it (which is I think I was going with it). It would be fairly straightforward to create three expansive packs with tiles, specific minis needed and an adventure order to follow as one plays. It's the original idea and I think it is the best one.
Being a one-man operation on this I haven't had as much an opportunity to second guess my decisions and I think this was my weakest link. I'll get the three together for the new year and release them as they are completed. I have most of the work down for two and the Demon's Claw is also almost done (mini wise).
I know that this doesn't make a bad decision (changing the format and intent of the adventures) right, but I hope it will be fun and useful for playing the darn game.
Thanks for your honesty (as usual), my friend. Sorry to vex you. Honestly, this is an easier path than what I was working on so I'll gladly get to work on this. After much struggle, I think I have a better sense of what I need to do on the adventures.
David

I see this as another reason why I don't think I am a good candidate for doing a kickstarter or patreon. As mentioned elsewhere, meeting expectations that are constantly evolving is not something that I would be good at.
I am glad that you have a clearer picture on how to make this right, and I think I know you well enough that you will make it right to the extent that you can.
You do amazing work, sir. And I see you as being one of the more honest and transparent folks in the community (although we do seem to have quite a few of those). I wish you all success

I'd like to smile if I wasn't embarrassed by the human limits I see looking around.
Mainly because many people consider a Patreon as a monthly subscription to some commercial products and a kickstarter as if it were a pre-order placed on an online store. Or a bank investment.
With a tier on Patreon you don't buy anything. A person is supported so that it is easier for him to follow his artistic vocations. Also, and above all I would say, when this person produces nothing.
Kickstarter is the same thing. With our pledge we share the vision of a project and the attempt to achieve it. We are not buying anything. If you think you want to buy something you can always go on the OBS websites or on Amazon. Or you can invest your $ 5 on a banana cargo.
Obviously this is only my personal thought on the subject, not a my judgment about other thoughts.
Good evening colleagues.
