Small challenge:
Adam can do you ten different Zombies - you have 6 currently; release them with one colour variant plus an B&W version.
Forum:
I would love to be able to field 100 different zombies. Using Adams 10 as a base what do you think of colouring up 9 different variations?
This would allow some visually sexy tabletop hoards.

Hey all! Just got House of the Dead Overkill-man, that thing has given me so many ideas! Am working on some of the 'soldier zombies', and when I have the set finished will add one or two black and whites of these guys for colouring. I have a ton of variants I want to do, and the more zombies the merrier in my book!

Hi abaddon!
I am afraid it is a console game-this version for the wii-so no minis required!
I would highly recommend it as it is A-a great co-op first person shooter( me and the missus played waaaaay too much last night!)and B-a great visual source of inspiration for minis and horror gaming in general. It has a kinda 'grindhouse' flavour to it (a bit 'Planet Terror' if anyone has seen that) and is definitely not kid friendly-a LOT of swearing, so wouldn't recommend picking it up if there are kids in the house that could get their hands on it!
After playing it has got me thinking about carny and hospital themes for the zombies, and I would love to see some of the locations as tiles or card scenery!

Really need to pick that one up. I have the House of the Dead 2&3 disc and two pistol grips for my Wii controllers for that. This is a must buy for me!

LOL! Chance would be a fine thing! Did manage to have a play with the gun controllers that arrived over the weekend, but have had zero time for anything this week so far-the travel back from work has been appalling!! Still, it's my birthday this weekend so that's something to look forward to! Sneaky peaks will be posted as soon as I am happy with them!

hey folks!
Had a great birthday weekend, despite throwing my back out on the Thursday-the painkillers definately helped!
Am having this week off as sitting at the computer all day followed by sitting at the computer all night really doesn't help the healing process LOL!
I will be back to it this weekend though, and I want to try and get something finished for this month's hoard too.
Will keep you posted!!

Holy cow! March? MARCH?? I can't believe it's been so long since I posted here! Anyhow, the Survival Horror 2.0 stuff I've been working on is finally taking shape, and I finally have an idea about what I want to include in the set (figs, bases, background info etc). I see them almost as little movie scenes, with a hero, monsters and a 'Boss', and kinda self contained. I am planning on the first set being called 'Last Man Standing', and have a few parts semi-finished up and some sketchy design stuff to work on. Here are a few bits: Jack (this sets hero) Bioweapon (the 'Boss') This guy is in the design stage at the moment, but I kinda liked his tentacle arm! And finally, I have modded some of Jim's bases for use in the set (with full credit when produced of course!): They're still a little rough but I am quite pleased with them. Well, fingers crossed and a little more hard work and the first set should be ready soon!

Again very fantastic work.
I ws thinking that you should regroup all your work so far and layer them up on a couple of sheets just so the fans of DarkMook need only to print them - as opposed to chasing down the different figures through the Hoards.
Just a thought

Hey abaddon!
Great minds think alike-I was planning on collecting my Steampunk themed figs (with bases and maybe a re-colour or two) and also my Horror figs (the same) and asking Jim about how I make them available from here!

Great to see you posting again Adam!
I have to say, I'm SUPER excited about your themed sets... I was just looking through my models last night with a friend and he was asking if you were making any new stuff!
I ended up giving him all the models of yours that I've made... so hearing of new stuff (and repacakaged old stuff) coming from you is SWEET!

Hey guys! Quick update on the Survival Horror 2.0 sets... Got some of the zombies for this set finished up. Using the 'foot soldier' body and head and colour variants, I proudly present some ex members of the SHPD: I am pretty pleased with these bad boys, and happy that the 'foot soldier' body is generic enough to mod. I will be tackiling the Bioweapon this week!

Nice zombies... I would suggest mirroring one of them though... so that one is leaning left and one is leaning right... just so they look that much more different...

Hey Adam!
These look great!
I was looking through this post and was reminded of all the cool sketches you've done... any chance of some of those seeing the light of day in the near future, too?

Hey guys! Glad you like them! There are a bunch of these ready, and there are some 'flipped' versions-these zombies were just a sampler to show the fronts and reverse! And I have a bunch of stuff in the pipeline beau-quite a few of those sketches will indeed be finally seeing the light of day!

After you get some games in, I wouldn't mind reading about your impressions of Fear and Faith. I'm currently playtesting his Tales of Blades & Heroes, but am interesting in getting F&F when I have more time.
Thanks in advance!

Hey abaddon! Was at my father in law's for his birthday this weekend so had a break in the colouring, but will be back to it this week! I've had some colour issues with the bioweapon, but I think I have them figured out... Nearly there folks!
