Bravo! The agents are truly great and usable for almost any modern genre. The Bio-monster thingy is very cool. Nice organic lines there.

Hi folks! I have had a bit of a scheduling change for the set releases, so The Horror Within will now be set 5. The next release will be Survival Horror Set 4: Dog Days, featuring 10 Zombie Hounds, and a re-coloured Jack (Hunter Version) from set 1, this time armed with a rifle: JackZombie HoundsThe set will also feature the Survival Horror interior bases I have been working on alongside the street bases. With a little luck this set will be released at the end of the week! Cheers!

Hooo boy! Long time no post again! I have finally finished up the Bio-Demon Leader, and am pretty pleased with how he turned out: Despite the gap between colouring the the regular Bio-Demons and this guy, I think the highlights etc are consistent with the overall look. With a bit of luck I'll get the set test built this week and released start of next!

I have finalised the line up for the SURVIVAL HORROR OCCULT TERRORS HALLOWEEN SPECIAL 2010 limited edition set! Alongside Bob the Dream Demon from this month's Hoard and Nancy the Teen Heroine will be Hodder the Slasher and Gunnar the Butcher alternate versions! These guys have had a bit of a revamp since their original release and I think round out the Halloween set for 2010 pretty nicely. I have the test build to complete and layouts to finish, but I will keep you posted on release details!

It has been interesting seeing your figures evolve over time getting better and better. I just hate being teased with some great figures in the boardgame that I have to wait on . Oh well. At least you are knocking stuff out as opposed to me...well besides knocking roller girls out the track . -Audrey

Thanks Audrey and Sammo-with any luck this set should be out after the weekend, and I have 3 more planned for release before the end of the year (fingers crossed!!!) The game is taking a lot longer to get finished than I initially anticipated, but hopefully should be all the better for it in the end! I am playtesting tomorrow (!) so hopefully the final kinks will be worked out and I can get on to polishing it up and getting the graphics etc sorted. Still be a while yet though until it is ready to be set loose on the world... Looking forward to seeing your vampires finished too Audrey-although I know myself how all consuming derby can be!

Hey all! Just a quick update as I have been working on the next set of Survival Horror minis-a return to form with a new zombie set! I decided that the next place to suffer the zombie plague (after my previous police station and prison sets) would be the local SH hospital, and the set is provisionally titled HOSPITAL OF HORROR. Here are the two as yet un-named heroes, a heroic firefighter: and a wise-cracking female security guard: Both will be suitably armed to take on the undead patients and doctors of Mercy General...

My vote for names: "Dave the Firefighter" or just plain "Firefighter Dave." And the girl guard looks like her name should be "Carmen." She looks Hispanic, and that is a femanine name, but still leafves you feeling like she has some strength to her! Not like, "Julie." That just doesn't sit well with a female butt-kicker... After all, you are in the office, your first day on the job and zombies break through the wall... I am heading to have Carmen help me LONG before asking for help from Julie... Maybe it's just me!

Thanks guys! And cheers for the suggestions kiladecus! Liking the names. And strangely, the girl I work with in my office is called Julie...and I definately wouldn't go to Julie in a zombie-based emergency!

I think if you had a big guy carrying a machine-gun in each hand, a "deadhead" and a sword strapped on his back, you could call him "Dozer" or something like that, he might fit right in. Of course a week's worth of stubble on his face, and black shades...
Another suggestion is a guy in a poncho (or black leather duster) with a cowboy hat that shadows his face, give him a mysterious look [hint to him being an undead merc] with glowing eyes, and HIS name could be Cahill. (Just sounds tough and mysterious.... Good thing I am good at naming characters, I have a daughter named "Viola." LOL!)

Thanks fellas! And Viola's a fantastic name! I have been working on some way to display the minis a little better and have come up with a couple of prototype backdrops using textures etc I have been working with on the game: There are more pics over on the DARKMOOK MINIATURES blog- darkmook.blogspot.com/2010/11/diorama-test-shots.html-featuring Macavoy and Nancy. Hope you like them-I'll probably be using the finished products a fair bit from now on LOL! Cripes, two posts from me in one day! The end times MUST be near...

DUDE! I have to say you are quickly becoming my NEW favorite figure designer! That is the neat thing about this site, SO many styles and techniques... a virtual variety smorgasborg! And just when I thought your stuff couldn't get ANY better, BAM! you hit us with THIS! Any chance of offering some of your stuff that is not SO bloody? (Just asking... I like the butcher dude, but... well, I realize he IS a butcher...) Just saying...

Wow! I like the new mercenary fella; very striking pose. Just dropping a small stone into the vast oceans of your mind here; but did you ever consider making ww2 based horror miniatures? I think this would be brilliant. Great work!

Cheers all! I have been thinking about doing some pulp/Lovecraftian type horror minis, so wouldn't rule out WWII horror stuff. I have a bunch of reference material together for similar stuff in 'The File', it's just finding the time to get everything done!

Hey all! Sorry for being absent for a while-busy busy busy with work and a number of projects, and with Christmas sneaking up it has thrown me for a bit of a loop! hackbarth and Rhannon-fear not, the werewolves are still in the to do list, but I have the next two zombie sets to finish up first. I was hoping to get at least one out before the end of the year, but will have to keep my fingers crossed! I am aiming to get a new set out every 4-6 weeks next year, but will have to see how the workload goes. Thanks all for your continued support and patience
