Never did a zip, but the reason you can't pull up the image is that PostImage mess from a while back. Click on the image. When the page opens saying it can't open, in the url change 'org' to 'cc'. That should open the image.

I would still like to come back some time and make a version that is easier, but not the super easy toy-like caravans. I have yet to master EZ-Bild

Hi there Vermin King, I'm have problems downloading the Images for the wagons. It seems, and for several other models as well, that my puter can't find the site! Any help? Is the link dead and model nolonger available?

I'm starting "Rangers of Shadow Deep" and going full Medieval for my scenery, so "gypsy caravan" has suddenly become far more useful than, say, a week ago. So, thank you for this

I think I need to update my Vardos. I really like the way this is done on the undercarriage. I imagine that it is considerably larger than my little guys, since it is one model in a book.

I am going to take a crack at a "quicker" build for these. Eliminate the 3D caging layers, and make an easy to build undercarriage/wheels. Maybe done this week.

Go for it. I was going to do a ticket office as a somewhat EZ Bild. Like I'm doing the circus wagons

Vermin King, what is piece 21? Where does it go? What is it's function? Thank you

Many of the Vardos had a wooden rack on the back, hinged at the bottom and extended out at the top with rope or chain. The rack gives extra storage space. They still put these on modern restorations, but are generally seen in the closed position, just up against the back. I did it as a two-sided piece for those who wanted it down, but on a simple version the rack could just be pasted onto the back, or done graphically The cratch in the down position can be seen in this drawing

Ok, I've been through a half dizen iterations of an EZer-build chassis in my head and three in GIMP, and I was truly ready to give up. And then I had a dream about being in a car crash, and as the car was flipping over forwatd, I realized the way to do it. Hopefully tonight!

Still working on the EZier version. It won't be done by the time I need it, so I have modded Madame Eva's to lose the D&D advertising. I will hopefully build it later tonight.

Oh, I wish you'd have postponed it earlier. I've made progress on the circus wagons, but I thought I had a fairly clear view of how to do the EZ Bild Vardo. I've been sick last night and today, so I might have been able to finish it. When do you need it?

Ideally yesterday lol. I finished my spider standees instead of the wagon tonight, so still the sooner the better. Maybe Satyrday night if I'm lucky.
Thank you. I suck at this kind of thing.

I have to go to the store over lunch today, and I work tonight, Friday and all day Saturday. I'll try to work on it at lunch tomorrow and Friday.
By leaving off the cratch, stovepipe and the laminated trim, and replacing the sub-frame with simple boxes, this should be a one-pager

spent time on this while I should have gone to the store EZ-er Bild is probably more descriptive than EZ Bild

Great minds think alike. In my plan, I combined the front and rear axle pieces as single width taller boxes, and have the springs as part of the wheels themselves.
Of course, I still have a ways to go before my version is presentable.

I decided to some quick and easy mods to Madame Eva's Caravan. Using bits from Vermin King 's Vardos, I added a bottom, the horse slats, and a cratch. I also resized it to better match my 30mm paper dudes. I also removed all the D&D advertising lol! The original is a good 50% larger than it should be, in my opinion. Which is great for giants and all, but not so much for village scenery. EDIT: at 11:55am 14feb2019 I re-uploaded the image with a few minor corrections I decided upon after I built the darn thing.

Yeah, unfortunately, the Reading doesn't have slab sides which allows the wheels to be merged into the sides like on this one.
