Just because your lair is in the dungeon, it doesn't mean you don't deserve a few creature comforts... (i.e. more stuff in the works )

Are you going to make a stone version of the stairs? Can you already do that with existing textures?

I wasn't planning on doing a stone version (not yet anyway ) - but yeah, you should be able to do a similar thing with some of the existing textures (using the wall pattern for the sides, and the floor pattern for the steps).

kris has now released the multi-level room components into the wild, along with one of his usual, excellent, how-to-make videos to accompany them. You can find the video, with the normal link to the downloadable textures via the OBS sites, here. With just a few tweaks to the wood-panelling texture, this could be turned into fancy wooden wainscoting for creating the traditional "English country house" type secret passages, I think - essentially a false wooden wall separated from the true outer stone wall of the building, creating the hidden passage. That's if you're looking for yet more ideas to work with, kris!

Is that a stirge?! BTW Pathfinder has started calling them "bloodseekers" for some reason.

BTW kris, I took a page from your book for a horse I have been working on. One layer of 3mm corigated cardboard for the head and body and then one layer each for the left legs and body and the right legs and body. Here he is (or here he would be if postimage wasn't on the fritz again.)

This is the horse I mentioned back in Dec. I have since realised the horse I used is copyrighted so I am drawing my own texture, but that has been interupted for my January Hoard submission, but I will get back to it.

I think it is amazing. Which got me thinking about oxen again. I think I can change one or two of the Aurochs that I never finished into oxen. I think this approach would yield some outstanding, beefy looking oxen. Only, the Aurochs, wisent and primitive horses work was on the dead computer. I do have a lot of my original images on this one. I think I might have to give it a shot. That is absolutely gorgeous, sir. Some of the best round rooms I've seen. A small part of that is the short flight of stairs, but it looks so 'right' as far as rise-to-run. I imagine participating in a game with you and oldschooldm would leave one stunned at what can be done.

That is absolutely gorgeous, sir. Thanks glad you like 'em (though anyone who has played in any of my games will know that I'm not the best GM ...and I do use terrain etc. as a bit of a crutch at times ).

Identifying what you are strong with and using it effectively is very important. When I used to play regularly, we had a main GM, and every three weeks we would trade off. My main strength was doing 'Out and Abouts'. I had a collection of pre-developed random encounters, so when the party came onto something, they could jump right in, since I already had all the info on who they were going to run into. Before they headed out, I pre-populated the area with possible encounters, too, so some of the less organized GM's would have me take their place, so I think they were something folks looked forward to. But doing big dungeon things was not my strong suit.
Having a crutch is a good thing. Using it well is even better

I have been binge watching the videos on your channel and I really enjoy them. There are a ton of cool ideas not to mention the dungeon tiles and other bits. I especially like the books and bottles. I prefer 2.5 walls instead full walls for most things for visibility during the game and this gives that great 3d illusion while keeping everything in view. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words Glad you're enjoying the vid's (though some of the earlier ones are horrible ...as I was super nervous about jumping on youtube).
