I went to buy it, but couldn't find it on Wargame Vault. Just lots of Samurai stuff (which I don't need. Yet...)

When I was a kid, we had a boat* callled " T.R. PufnStuf". My step-brother came up with it: T for my sister, Tracey, R for me, Robert, Puf was for him and Stuf was his brother, Simon. *OK, boat is a bit grandiose - it was a Mirror dinghy.

Because it would be so much more fun if they were really that big. Also, they are featured on page 51 of the original Fiend Folio for AD&D 1st edition. Easier to hit as well!

great work alloydog !!!! i ve seen that you applied round shields on orcs! if you need shields with custom simbols just ask and i ll make them for you Thanks for the offer. I did toy with the idea of making shields with designs on, but to be honest, while the camera can pick up the fine details, my eyes aren't that good! Seriously, look, even at about 43% of original size, you can still see the expressions on their little faces:

Here is the complete GOLDEN ALLIANCE: To recap which figures I have used:
To complete the UNHOLY BLIGHT, I need humany-looking mounted figures for the Dark Knights, as all the other units are non-human. I might end up modifying some regular mounted figures. Let's see how it goes.

Nearly finished the Knights of the Realm. I had a look through the Horde collections for something suitable for the mounted Dark Knights, from the Download pages, but couldn't find anything. In fact, there aren't many mounted figures at all - which leads to me suspect that drawing horses may be a bit more challenging that humand(oid) figures. So, I hope this helps: How to draw a horse Next stop Wargames Vault...

...that "Die Glocke" they were working on. That was actually the first thing that came into my mind. We're talking monster tanks, super sonic fighters and weird 'n' wacky sciency stuff!

Between Hobart's Funnies and a lot of stuff the Germans came up with, I think real-life pretty much had it covered.
To be brutally honest, in my opinion, if WWII was to drag on, I don't belive things like stompies/walkers would be on the menu and that Diesel Punk isn't necessarily the way to go. I think further development would be along the lines of more high-tech stuff, like jet or even nuclear engines. As the casualties grew, men would probably get better protection and better weapons.
Maybe things like, due to brutal treatment at the hands of the Soviet High Command, the people had had enough and there was a second Russian revolution which caused to push west to falter. This allowed the Germans to hold their borders. Still limited by lack of resoruces and manpower, we could see the Germans coming up with even more ingenious designs.
With the war in the west dragging on, the US push across the Pacific isn't as fast. They still drop the atomic bombs, but with outposts still dotted around Asia, the Japanese don't surrender. The US invasion of the Japanese home islands commences. The Japanese come up with high-tech solutions flavoured with samurai styling.
With the Germans more intent on holding their lines, and the US diverting resources to the Pacific, the British and now relieved French take up the slack. Again, after the attrition of five years of war, resources are limited, but both nations are renouned for thier invetiveness.
Towards the end of the war, thinks like remote-controlled weapons systems and shealth were being developed. Generally, development like these ten to slow with wars ending, but if it continues, then things can speed up.
I think high-tech, high-spec could be the theme... maybe?

I have started using the hammer & punch, it was noticed by the tribe members who said "What the blood hell are you doing?" Also, I now have 8 mm rings cut deep into my cutting mat... That didn't work out too well. The edges tended to be quite rough and the layers of card separated. Like the Gun Ship, it's on hold now until I get the Chronicles of Blood figures playable.

Finally got the other three units done: The first unit I did, I noticed a bit of space in the middle. Since I didn't use the little chappies with the spears, I re-purposed them to be standard bearers, or as the Goblins call them " Wavy things" - The Goblins aren't that very artistic, nor understand the real concept of flags, standards and so on, just that most regiments and armies seem to have. So, they tend to use anything they can find, especially if they can get their little paws on a ready one. If the end, three of the units have seventeen figures and one eighteen. Only two more to go: Both mounted knights, one unit of Good Guys, the other Bad Boys.

If you're into Greek stuff, check out MAZES & MINOTAURS. It has a lot of source material already for role playing. I did give it a read through, but found it way too complicated. The website presents the game as an alternative reality where Dungeons & Dragons was insired by the Ancient Greek classics rather than the works of J. R. R. Tolkien.

For this 15 mm set up, I have these real cutesy-wutesy tiny, 4 mm across, dice. I used them for each figure when I play Beer & Pretzles Space Marines. You can see them here: Though, I only add the dice to the figure once it takes a hit.

Hi everybody! There is something that disturbs my mind... And I would like to know your opinion. It is about the size of my figures. I know that due to their style, they are more wide than others. And I like this, but sometimes I think they are maybe too big... I don´t know, I measure them, I compare with other paper figures and with 3D figures, but I am not clear... I am afraid they cannot fix with other figures in a tableboard... Have you printed some of them? What do you think?? Keep them how you like them - each set of figures I have matches the artist's style. They can be quite different, but who cares? Unless you're playing a game that virtually demands you source your stuff from one manufacturer, then you will see on alomost any wargaming table, figures of different styles. Nothing wrong with "wide". In fact, some figures look better when wider than they technically should be: What application/programmes do you use?

That's a lot of tiny cuts, does this rule system require you to pull individual casualties off of the group base? Good grief, I hope not... Each Regiment has a number of Wounds. How you mark them is up to you. I've used dice and counted both up and down and also I've used " Skull" markers. When I played with 30 mm figures, I had a row of figures per Wound. Then I removed a row for each wound point received. For this 15 mm set up, I have these real cutesy-wutesy tiny, 4 mm across, dice. I used them for each figure when I play Beer & Pretzles Space Marines.

Seeing this thread and the idea of running a Travelleresque campaign, reminded me of way back when dinosaurs ruled the earth and a small group of us at school player Traveller during the break time, I came up with Traveller star ship stats for the Star Fleet ship in the Star Fleet Technical Manual. Might give a go again sometime, maybe use High Guard.
