A "T" shape? Huh... I hadn't considered that as a build possibility. Well, I modified the bar to a box by making a smidge of bamboo for the non-wall end. I've made a modified pdf of the bar equipment page, adding in the new end. I didn't change any actual layout as I didn't want to fudge any autocutter settings - but this page someone may want to hand cut or it will cut off the added modifications. The build is done - just have to take pics. But what really gets me is what do we use the small railing for? The large is for the balcony overlook of the dance floor and the medium is for the topside of the stairs. The small one is beyond me where that is supposed to go. [Gee whiz, I actually got this to work!]

I should be able to post pics of my build of Shep's "The Jungle" Cyberpunk Club by the end of this holiday weekend. I had downloaded it when I saw the notice of his passing, and - as a personal memorial for him - decided to work it up as a present for my main gamemaster who has been talking about a Cyberpunk game. (We only have around 20 (!) different campaigns we alternate between - no chance of getting stale here!)
I'm just finishing cutting out the parts. But first, I wanted to mention there seems to be an error on the main floor piece with the placement of the "paste bathroom wall here" outlines. It confused the heck out of me as it seemed the bathroom walls were intended to go into the dancehall portion of the facility and that there wasn't enough walls. (The toilets were supposed to be visible? The doors are in a partition with the table area?)
Okay, I admit I hadn't printed out the directions when I did the parts! I found and read Shep's WIP thread and found that, "Oh! it's on the other side of the wall by the stairs. D'Oh!" It didn't help that I had confused myself as to where the front door would end up being and thought it was going to open onto what I now know is the bathroom tile floor (thought it was the 'lobby').
Now that I have that all straightened out - and found the exterior pieces for the driveway and parking lot, I'm good to go. Well, mostly. I'm am still confused about the bar. If the green portion is supposed to be a flat top, I am not finding parts for the ends. Is it supposed to be an open ended shell? Would need a tab for the bottom of the backside as well. (Easily made from the edge of paper gap.)
See you again in about 48 hours with my results...
Hope everyone got enough turkey. I ended up staying home and doing a pork roast in the crockpot...

MICHAEL !!! Hey there, old friend! Dennis Appell here. "greypilgrim" over on the old WWG forums. I think I received a friend request on FB, but denied it because I thought you might have been hacked. I'll go and approve that tight now!

I now need to dig "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" out of my [extensive] collection and rewatch it - it was the first time I really "got into" Angeline Jolie...

1) Kudos to Sean White/Armorbimbo for those wonderful reimaginations! Thought-provoking... 2) Especially loved the police reskins 3) A Couple (or more) years ago I built some Star Wars oriented stuff for my grandson, Lucas [no kidding!], mostly a WWG Swampwoods group set for Endor - and two Ebbles Landing Pads, one of which I upsized to twice the original. 4) My $20,000 question: where did he get the Bridge Layer?

You might also want to check out Fiddlersgreen.net - another British site. The buildings are Brit and American (some Old Wes)t - although I find them somewhat tongue-in-cheek - but they do have decent historical buildings, like Twain's writing shed, Henry Ford's birthplace, etc. Massive amounts of historical planes and aircraft as well. You would likely need to do some resizing for most of them.

@ Cowboyleland - "Wild West and Circuses" makes me think of "Something Wicked This Way Comes." I suspect it isn't actually "old west" but it could also tie into "Kids vs. . ."
This reminded me of "Valley of Gwangi"...

Just realized the other day that one brand of bacon at my local grocery store (Hy-Vee, their brand actually) now comes with a flexible plastic sheet about 5"x8" in size - ostensibly to help cut the bacon strip in half while still in the package. I've washed up a couple of these and they now reside in my travel case of tools for small item projects as a portable mini-cutting matt. Just thought I'd share...

oldschooldm is correct - it was the Kenner sets - though the elevator set came a LOT later... I've got pics but can't remember how to post them - oh, well...

That old set of plastic girders being mentioned was the Kenner Girder and Panel building system (which shot off the add-on Girder and Roadway sets) done in a variety of different sets of many sizes. I don't have my ORIGINAL sets, but I've snapped up a few along the way over the last decade or two. Fun Times!

I went back checking the old Hordes and found that for 2 of them (#106 Real World Armies Across History, and #107 Oriental + Bedouin) there is no pic, nor is there an active link for either. Were they deleted?

it's been used either way - the concept of the triangle in the gate's construction makes it sturdier.

What you guys provided as an example of a diagonal is certainly a good option, but what I was actually thinking about was where, to prevent the gate from sagging, a board high straight above the pin-end of the gate with a board going diagonally downward to the top corner of the swinging end - often used for long gates.

I'd say 6"length as well. 3" gates, with or without the overhead diagonal to the high board in the pinion corner. Maybe some 1" people gates - which would need a 2" fence version as well to go with it.
I presume that you are going to texture it as wood. Plain off-yellow/tan? White? Barn Red?

I think #6 is the Landmaster from Damnation Alley, but I'm stuck on #4 - I thought at first it might be the space Winnabego from Space Balls, but it doesn't have wings in the profile outline...

The railroad equipment would be classified "contemporary" - but would fit anything from "early" diesel - which would fit with pulp era to modern. Eventually I want to do some old western oriented stuff.
