Thanks. I thought I needed my eyes checked... well, I DO, but that's another story.

Where did you get the landing pad you used for your photo displays?

Wait! Do my eyes (or memory) deceive me, or did you shrink the UD-41? Like the texture mix redo.

It's that whole thing of standing on the shoulders of giants - I'm not capable of generating these wonderful textures (yet) - I'm reliant on these fantastic guys like Chris to create the medium I can do this with...

I should also mention that the bulkhead wall is removeable and is an optional feature to keep the pilot cabin pressurized when the rear of the flight deck needs to be exposed to vaccuum or other adverse conditions.

I was working on a version of the VT-3 Pinzgauer with removable roof and an interior flight deck. I had to put the build aside for a while but my Photobucket album shows what I accomplished so far. I always thought it was such a shame that Chris put so much beautiful work into the cargo deck area of the Pinz and you really couldn't appreciate it - unless you got your head down to the tabletop and stuck your nose into it. I reversed the exterior for the interior walls, using WWG's First Light and its Retro sequel for parts along with some bits from the UD-41 Dropship an its companion LEV. And I used transparencies for the windows. Here are a couple images as samples: Printer problems at the time forced a hiatus to the project; when those problems were resolved, I got involved in other projects. I really need to get back and finish this - which at this point is really as simple as finishing the regular exterior walls and modifying the roof. My Photobucket project page is here: s109.photobucket.com/user/greypilgrim_01/library/03%20VT-3%20Pinzgauer_with_Interior%20Kitbash?sort=3&page=1

Hello, I'm Dennis. I recognize at east a couple of you from one of my favorite "professional" store sites, WWG. I've been into tabletop RPG since before D&D had the 'A' in front - and board wargames (of various flavors)since around the same time. I got into cardstocking because I wanted to build a castle - and after much looking at plastic kits (mostly because of my background in model railroading) - I figured papercraft was the way to go for its economy and 'kitbashyness". It took me almost two years to finally get around to making one. (Well, the castle itself is finished - just need all the nice finishing touches of interior furnishings.)
