Where are you based, migibb? I found, that having the Litko bases sent through their UK collaborators ended up at appr. the same price as the ones that Warbases offers, shipping included (I'm in continental Europe, the exact same is probably not the case inside UK). That pretty much puts it down to a matter of which type of slots you like. Unless you want that swarm base, of course, I don't think Litko makes those.

I'm also thinking it'd be great for bowstrings, horse reins, etc.

Good question. According to Google translate, they are 135 mm tall for a 10 story building model, which I guess places them close to 6mm scale. Whether they can be enlarged without getting too blurry remains to be seen. I may buy one or more, just because I think they look cool. Maybe some of our Polish members can enlighten us?

I gotta say I love your drawing style. Do you do other stuff than SciFi? Fantasy or superheroes, for example?

I voted for the first two. Too thick, and they won't fit into a Litko base.

Found these by coincidence - and I like them a lot! Fits right into a modern or superheroic city setting. Check them out for yourselves (maybe they have already been posted here, but I looked and didn't see them anywhere). www.zupagrafika.com/zupamarket.html

I got a smartphone. My family thought it was about time to get rid of the ol' Nokia C3 (I guess they were right). It's funny, I wan't the latest in desktop computer tech, but when it comes to phones, I'm in the Dark Ages. I gave my nephews Heroclix boosters.

why would someone do this? it's not like were huge companies with massive firewalls? I thought these hackers like a challenge? aren't we kind of like beating up little kids on a playground? I mean my old site didn't even have encryption on it for crying out loud.... well I hope all goes well with your site and you can get things back to normal soon! I have another hobby I haven't told anyone here about - I'm a scambaiter and a scam warner, when I don't deal with real life or build paper models and minis. That means, that I waste scammers time (sometimes with hillarious results), gather any RL information I can about scammers, try to close their bank accounts, and work to warn potential victims. My ultimate goal is to write a PhD about the phenomenon, but that's still at least a year into the future. Now, even though I mainly deal with 419 scammers, I know enough about internet crime in general to say: They're not targetting your businesses. They're targeting personal information of any kind they can get their hands on. Any data can be sold by a hacker to a scammer. The email addresses are valuable, because they can be sold as maillists. Passwords to this form, how worthless they may seem, can be coupled with email addresses - you'd be surprised how many people that just uses the same password for all their online accounts. Any names and addresses can be used for identity theft, which can be an incredible bad experience for anyone to go through, and credit card and bank data can obviously be misused, but in this case, we're in the clear. The "dark web" is a sinister place indeed. Luckily, we have some sunshine spots on the internet as well, like this little site and forum.

May I boldly suggest that you put up some shots of each army type? Only thing I can find is some portrait, that doesn't say a lot about the product, and I think a lot of people would hesitate to buy a digital product like this, without seeing a a few assembled samples first.

No, I'm Poland, i.e. one country further to the East. I'm also not that much into beer due to my exceedingly girly preferences in alcohol. I'd rise a pink Martini or two with you guys though. Sorry, but I'm not sure I can meet up with you, then. I have my reputation as a Dane to think of.

Italian cuisine to me is more a common denominator than a regoinal matter. As I see it, Italian cuisine is an attitude that implies simplicity - only a ingredients (fresh and of good quality) are used, and each of them plays a leading part in the meal. There are regional differences, but as Parsuz writes, it's the use of ingredients that makes it distinct.

Yeah, as for storability, you just stick the mini into the slot in the base (which is slightly curved for better grip), instead of sliding. You can still store flat, just as before. If you'll never need to use more than 10 minis at any given time, just buy 10 bases. I think I'm covered in the 20 and 25 mm department, at least until I take on paper wargames, but I will need some larger sizes for larger creatures. Not too far into the future, my group will face trolls.

Got my Litko bases today - and I have to say that I'm a satisifed costumer! Had to trim down the black tabs on my minis a wee bit, but it's hardly any bother, as I have a nice pair of small, sharp scissors. The tile they're standing on is a prototype for a tile system idea I'm working on, and since it's a proto, I didn't bother to edge it, so please bear with that. I've got a batch of 20-mm and 20 25-mm, but I can already see, that I will need more - because this is da bomb!
