Hello, all. Here is my submission for this category. The pictures are not great, but I was pleased with how this worked out as a model and in terms of how it worked in game play. The idea here was to creat a partially constructed keep on an artificial island in a swamp. - The main gatehouse and towers are from FDG's Winterhawk. Using the fold-flat system from FDG's Ravenfell, I modified the towers to have multiple levels that are stackable with interiors. - The half-built walls are modified from FDG's Borderland Keep walls. I took the texture from the broken wall in that set and recessed it into cut-down walls. - The half-built towers are simply cut down versions of the Winterhawk towers. - For the rear gate in the half-built wall I combined the Borderland Keep wall with the doorway from FDGs EZ Dungeons temple expansion. - The rubble pile in the courtyard is kitbashed from various elements in FDG's EZ Dungeon Deluxe set. I used the texture from the the "rubble" tiles and superimposed them onto the geometry of the "treasure pile". Then I added some "rubble" pieces from that set. - The scaffolding is made of barbecue skewers and coffee stir sticks. Hope you like it.

The Reptilian Monsters set from One Monk doesn't have something like this? Thanks. I checked, and the closest thing that set has in a bullywug.

Hello, all. Does anyone know of a Slaad mini? The color is not that important. I can alter them if need be. Here's a couple pics for reference: Thanks Afet

Note: I've revised the files. The bases of the stubs are now higher so that the masts fit down over them better. And here are a few pics of the wrapped sails and the stubs. The stubs a little messy because I cut off the already installed full masts and retrofit the stubs.

The Sea Dragon is quite diminunative next to the Maiden. The design is optimised towards easy building and ease-of-use in gaming, and it excels in both. Far easier to build than the Maiden, and a lot less fiddly on the table, but nowhere near as realistic. The Maiden is quite realistic as a 17th century Galleon. The somewhat fanciful FDG Sea Dragon is a redux of the FDG Medieval Sailing Ship, which is quite faithful to the clinker built Cog used by the Hanseatic League in the 12th and 13th centuries.

It will have optional cannon ports and portholes (windows) on the aft section. The design is very simple compared to the Maiden and Fat Dragon's ships. Scale wise, it's 28mm/30mm and I do not recommend printing it any smaller than that. I'm working in the sail textures right now, and have a few more things on the to-do list. Sounds great! The Maiden is excessively complex and too massive. I built it, but never use it. Simple is good. Do you have a new ETA?

Hey, all Does anyone know of a stargate-style (vertical ring) portal? Ideally, it would look more fantasy than sci-fi.

The fold-down flaps shown on the far left and right should work. However, if you were to make the flaps separate and include them with the background filler file, they could be cut out and added to both sides of the landings. they would still fold up and allow the model to fold flat.
for the small, uppermost landing a similar seperate fold down flap could include a triangular brace going down to the wall.

That foredeck is calling out for a mini-ballista on a revolve for harpooning krakens. The FDG sailing ship came with ballista. If you have that model you could throw them on this one.

Hi, Dave.
I literally can´t wait for this ship. My PCs decided to head out to sea in last night´s session, so I´ll need a ship pronto. I have FDG´s cog built, but I need a different ship for them to encounter, and WWG´s Maiden is way to big. I could build another cog, of course, but I'd rather build this your new ship!!
[puppy eyes]Any chance of this model being out before next thursday?[/puppy eyes]

Hey, all. Does anyone know of giant flower minis or models? They could be anything from traditional daisies to exotic orchids. So far, I have the vines, man eating plant and Ent by Eddnic.
My son wants me to make some for an Alice in Wonderland type adventure he's working on. Cheers, Afet.

I found the mini I was thinking of!! It was in the Wastland Mutants set: View AttachmentIt's not a Nothic, but I think I could make it work. Hah, my eye-hound! I made him from a character I ran in a zombie game. It was the companion piece to my zombie messiah mini. The only downside to this little beastie is that he doesn't have a mouth full of sharp teeth, like this guy: I guess I have to choose the eye or the mouth.

Is this for your continuing play through of Lost Mines of Phandelver? If so, perhaps we should bug okumarts, as today's release of his LZW KS minis include saplings that will sub perfectly for twig blights... I think I'm going to try to go pure paper (mostly OkumArts, some OneMonk, and we'll see what else is needed) for when I run it next month at our FLGS... Yes, it's for the Phandelver adventure. For the twig blights I was thinking of using Sanity Studios' choker roots. I can't seem to locate a link for them.

There this guy in the upper left in Cavern Monsters - Hmmm. That's not the one I remember. That said, I've always wanted an excuse to use the one-eyed-one-horned, flying purple people-eater.

I seem to recall a mini of a one-eyed quadrapedal mini. The body was hairless and pink it had one large eye. Ring any bells for anyone? it might have been one of the mutants, but i can't find it in my collection or any of the product links.
