Just saw this post. Two things: 1. I too want to know where to get those great clear bases. 2. I thought I bought the SOB set. Is that where the bonus files are? KB Sweet merciful puppies that looks awesome! Thanks. LOVE those bases.

Can somebody identify these miniatures? I'd like to try the same thing for an upcoming game.
I have created a variety of metal-to-paper minis for my own use.

Superb!
Thank you.
I hope you have a pickup and maybe a ambulance planned?
The real cheeze would be a similar simple design train..engine, boxcar, passenger,..maybe?
Wonderful stuff. Thankfully I bought a great laser color printer.

Dave,
I'm too tired tonight to read thru more documentation but I have a simple question...
Are the mats you've created layered, allowing for removal of the grids? Also, is there an option for larger grids? Perhaps like a 1.5 grid?
I know that one-inch grids have been the norm for years but new miniatures are far too large for one-inch grids. The one-inch was standard when minis were much much smaller. Everything today is 30mm, 28mm or larger.
Just wondering.

"...another thing is that I started (and will continue) with Fantasy genre, but I was "involved" mostly into historic themes so far - and would really love to release some historic sets - still not sure if there will be enough interest?..."
I for one would like them all! Call me a compulsive collector, but there it is.
I hope you do offer them. Why not offer the larger models you currently have. Heck, they can be printed in smaller size anyhow.

I just got my copy. Wonderful and Thank You!
Receiving a free copy was a real treat, though I was more than happy to pay the $4.95. I also purchased the High Elves set as well. Beautiful.
I sincerely hope you will make all of your other models available through RPGNow? This will allow me to purchase the others I've seen on your website.
Are you planning to do so?

I'm interested in buying the Dwarves and Orcs recently released, but do they have to be individually purchased?! We can't place in a cart and place one simple order? Really?

Just bought my set from RPGNow....WOW!!
I love high quality minis, and these definitely fit the bill.
I can't wait for the next stuff!
I'm hoping you'll be making a set of good guys in dress frocks and top hats or bowlers as a the 'good guys"??
Well done!

Rob,
Is there any way to receive a copy of the Bugs in 'non pdf"? I love the minis, just not the quality of the produced effort (i.e., the pdf version).

Well, I've now purchased several of the Avalon Models minis on RPGNow and I must say that I'm a bit disappointed. The First set I purchased was the emergency responders, and they were rather bland and not very inspiring. Still, I believe in supporting the hobby so I purchased another set -- the dwarves, and these were beautiful and well executed! So, today I purchased the 'just released' Alien Bugs..and hmmmm The colors appear far too washed out and to bright. I plan to darken my set by taking screenshots and editing in Photoshop but I don't understand why they are so bland and faded. lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FTYyTzxa10o/TzqcT7voreI/AAAAAAAAADo/z7SQKPkrfbU/s639/bugs.jpgI love the art just not the quality of the process. Could this be addressed? Also, are there different artists contributing to the production line? KB

I just bought mine.
While I think they're ok, they're not quite as nice as the other models I've purchased from Cerberus in the past -- rather flat looking and bland. I was expecting something a bit nicer...
Still, they at least fill a niche.

As I don't read Italian (though I did join the Yahoo Group), am I to understand that many of those older minis are available as reprints, or some such? Or am I missing something? KB

Regarding the Litko clear bases. Are they available from Jom's lab or were they strictly a private venture?
They look great and I'd like to purchase a some.

I for one am thrilled to hear that someone is finally considering a retro approach to some figures.
As a true first generation D&D'er (as I was actually enjoying D&D before it was published, having lived in Wisconsin back then, 1973-74), I'm trilled that at last I can once again see the beasties that engaged our imaginations...bug bears, owl bear, kobold, goblins, slimes, skeletons, ...anything from the original books or the monster manual would be awesome!
I for one can't get into the newer monsters that my sons are always talking about (as seen in the many plastic D&D minis of recent years). I guess I'm just showing my age b, but thank you for deciding to do these.
I look forward to the set(s).
By the way, I just got my latest set of the Ninja vs Samurai from RPGNow...wonderful! Keep'm comin, I'll be buying all..

I have purchased the Whiplash Trigger files and will soon be adding the RetroSpace and Monks to my colelction and I love the art.
But, I'm curious why the black borders are so sharply shaped, rather than the smoother rounded look of OneMonk etc.
I have decided to expand the borders that came with my sets and simply expand them so I can have a rounder look.
I was just curious why the look? I makes them look less refined onece assembled. Wouldn't rounding work?
Great work. I look forward to buying more...

Well, I for one love these. can't wait for future sets.
Did I hear correctly? Pulp is coming!! Oh man, oh man...
And I second (or third) the sentiment for desert terrain...cacti and ya know what would be awesome? Dead and wonded on the ground! Any chance?
Oh...here's another idea from younger son -- Victims -- as in tied up "hogtied" for robberies etc...
wish I had the talent...keep up the great work.
