That is exactly what I planned to do!!!! Also was going to use Jabbro's free figures along side OneMonk's Adventurers for use with your Dungeon sets. Thanks Jim! ~F

Certainly, I'll post some uniformly coloured rooms here soon, but I may just have to be sneaky and save different colour corridors for different sets - proper sandy biege for pyramid tombs (although the walls may have to be changed), blue for "cold" dwarven halls maybe. Thanks for the tips. that'd be perfect Billam! And very nice job Sammo that looks great. ~F

I love the idea of doing a campaign and having the figures change as it goes along. Thumbs up man for making it all the more fun and interesting!
You using Dave's medieval buildings?

Love it. ;D But anything with that much detail/parts I'd rather build in plastic because I would be terrified of it getting smashed, damaged (humidity), etc. And all those hours would be caput!

Incidentally, do you think they would be a market for Gothic Sci-fi floor plans? - or at least a following for a set of free Goth-Fi plans? I'd say if they are anything like those sketches I saw... watch out... ! yes. Absolutely. I cannot think of any hand drawn SciFi corridor/floor sets on the market right now... And it would definitely kindle that old school Warhammer Quest/Space Hulk 1st edition nostalgia. Test the waters like you did with your Fantasy Freebies... I think you'll find a pond full of hungry fish. ~F

This new set looks really good and looks like it work well with the Fantasy block set he released a while back.
I picked up the Scifi Blocks 2 and The Hangar the other day. And dare I say it the Hangar is one of the more beautiful (is that possible) pieces I've seen coming from Glenn's corner of the paper model universe. I absolutely love it. I am really thinking of making one a Mekboy workshop...
The TerraPrime stuff has definitely got my interest.

I originally found this set back when it was sketch ideas on a forum (this was some time mid-late last year) there were also some sketches/simple colorings of some very gothic scifi corridors in that thread... I had downloaded the original sketch versions but we delighted to see these reach commercial release!
I love the retro/hand drawn style. You and the guy from Fantasy Cutouts are doing a great job in this area.
Thanks so much for designing and sharing these... they will make excellent use for some good old fashioned Dungeon Crawling and Hack n Slash nights at the table. They put me in the mind of the old Heritage Paint n PLay sets like Crypt of the Sorcerer and Caverens of Doom.

I like the idea of a rigid interlocking grid system underneath. It looks like a tremendous amount of work, but it might be worth it for static battlefields. The deformation work is really cool. I'm looking forward to watching this develop. It's an interesting idea. And I've only seen organic deformations done in paper as terrain in one other instance. It was a Japanese designed version of a diorama from SmashStar tennis(used to be available on the Korean site : Botpa - unfortunately was never able to get it... ) ~F

Dave, Found an issue.
The : Ground-Tile-Passageway.pdf has the sidewalk edge texture misaligned.
Also, I noticed bottom glue flaps. Was the intention to mount it onto Foamcore or another (blank 6x6 of cardstock?
I know it would be a pain now, but having a the name of each piece labeled in it's respective PDF would help keep organized when printing a few pieces at once. (I just made sure I printed each piece in order. 1. Ramp sides (A&B), Ramp top, next ramp, etc.
Some center supports for underneath the ground tiles for the platforms might be nice at some point too (unless you covered this in the blanks Folder). I'll make my own, not a big deal.
Good stuff though and thanks for all the work you put into these releases . I am not trying to sound negative at all. I look forward to getting some Highground done for the city.

Really nice to see this set coming along.
Some truncated ramps (at the current heights might be nice). In other words ramps that make the height transition but aren't 6" long. Maybe a 3" or even 1" or 2" end caps to make it look more organic on the outer edges might be nice. (this is what I think Dagger is meaning as well). How are some of the other area's going to be navigated? Bridges, catwalks like in some of the newer Ruins sets? Some upcoming stairway editions?
This is looking good so far.

Print the bases here at 1/2 scale.
Everything remains the same for 15mm. It's meant as a 1 figure = 1 unit in the skirmish game.
