Why the 4x4 size? 6x6 fits pages as well (if they are 1") and provide much more room to maneuvre, plus it still allows smaller rooms which is not the case the other way around (though I guess you could put several 4x4s next to each others). Just a thought because I always found the small Warhammer Quest rooms too small for a lot of fights.

I really hate to be "that guy" who necroposts a topic who's last activity was four years ago but I was wondering if these tiles are still available for download anywhere? It seems the links I've seen through the thread are dead, or at least dead to me. Thanks. They are here at Papermakeit! - linkLook for the tiles and doors labeled "BDS". There are also tires and doors available here from Inked Adventures; Inked TilesInked DoorsAnd here; www.onemonk.com/terrain.htmlThank you much. I'll definitely give the Inked Tiles a look too as well as I don't think I've ever seen those.

Hey guys! Sorry about the delay in replying, I don't hang around here half so much as I used to: cherno: 4x4 just sort of evolved. The main idea was to provide a deck of tiles that you could shuffle and draw from to create a random layout. Strangely enough, WOTC went for this format a year or so later for Castle Ravenloft. They could also be combined to make bigger areas, so I felt they covered both design requirements adequately. Hey, it was my first ever foray into 'tiles'... lordchaosx: Glad you found the tiles & hope they work for you.I would love to see some pics in the Gallery of people using them. *wink* DaveA

Funny, I went 4x4 for Darkfast Dungeons because my play testing was done on Ravenloft tiles. I also went that size so more would print per page.
