Anyone has a good advice on the best printer setting to print on 200 gr/m2 paper? Depending on the type of paper (glossy vs. matte) I print on heavy paper using the "Plain paper" setting - regular quality. Might not be as "bright" but it doesn't smudge as much.

I love my EcoTank (I don't miss the ink-cartridge-scam one bit). The print is a little less "crisp" than some printers, but at the scale I'm working, it doesn't really matter.

I was on the Kickstarter as well. I didn't like a few things about them (color, form-factor...) - so I never built them. It's my own fault, having a specific aesthetic for my games...

What do you get when you mix RPGPapercraft's Popup Library geometry with Kev's textures?

My first attempt combining spray-can Zenithal Priming with Contrast paints on a low detail Bones mini. I like the effect, but it's very imprecise (globby) using retail primers. Clearly, this technique is best for airbrush priming. I will do it again on Huge minis for sure, but not humanoids. #miniaturepainting #zenithalpriming #contrastpaints #dungeonsanddragons #dnd #drow #drider #queen #priestess #bonesminiatures #citidelpaints #underdark

My library of products can be found HereAdded madmanmike's image and link to the page. I'm going to promote this a bit on SM now. Maybe more creators will show up.

I really like the new cabinets (and fireplace) from mproteau (Paper Realms). They are easy to build, and quite sturdy. Also, the shelf contents are fold-flat and game-time customizable - so one set of shelves can be repurposed for multiple rooms! Though I usually like fold-flat, I'll go the extra mile (including creating storage) for good sturdy paper terrain I build. For this build, decided to use my cutter to cut out glossy props from the 2d originals to glue on add extra dimension to the inserts. I found some book spines to make special inserts. I put beans in the base cabinet for stability, and I even used the embosser tool on my cutter to add a little dimension to the cabinet doors. Lastly, I made a custom storage box with 300gsm glossy paper printed with some terrain (and product copy on the bottom of the box.) www.drivethrurpg.com/product/350183/Tavern-CabinetsThe fireplace is a very nice model too! www.drivethrurpg.com/product/350185#papercraft #terrain #rpg #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #props

How about it madmanmike ? Would you like to be included? I just need a single representative image and link(s) to where you'd like folks to go to get/see your stuff...

This has been clarified. Thanks for pointing that out. Forgive me, but I am old. Also, I doubt they use abbreviations the same in other countries. PC is either Player Character or Politically Correct, but what is POC?

I assume you have already thought about bravesirkevin for this? I think he has a very diverse catalogue of figs. Which isn't surprising, given his milieu. Yes.

Hey @everyone, I'm trying to gather a list of paper mini links to DTR (or items your store, or Patreon, or here on CW) that feature PC (Player Characters) that are POC (People of Color).
If you have one or more sets that feature skin-tone layers, that's cool too. If you have LOTS of sets that have that feature, a single link to your store and a short list of sets would be helpful.
Be sure to call out any sets that are focused on POC - including not-just-skin-tone features.
Thank you.

I love these! I Photoshopp'd them to remove score lines and extend a few bleed regions since I emboss-score instead of cut or perf-score. I really like how great these look with smooth natural looking corners. These are a little delicate, so I made custom box, that inverted doubles as terrain!

I love my cutters (I've had two). Yes, like any machine with moving parts, they want a little love. Mine have lasted longer than any printer I have ever owned. I hear you though, that's why I'm still not ready for a 3D printer. But, if you like cutting things out, go nuts! If I had to hand cut minis, I'd have about 0 of them. :-) Fortunately, the hardest part of using cutters is getting the cutfiles together, and there are many of those made by people here free, and for a little patreon money thrown at folks like mproteau (Paper Realms) ... To each their own. At least if you get one, you'll have a support community here!

I know oldschooldm would disagree, but I have been spending too much time contemplating how to make this fold-flat. It is feasible if one doesn't attach the extremely solid balcony. Frankly, glennwilliams's Back Alley roof that would slide over the top and hold things square would make it 'nearly' fold-flat. Since Glenn has gotten several kudos on the Back Alley roofs for having a low enough slope to allow the roofs to be easily playable space, and since I like what that style roof allows for storability, tonight I worked on a set of roofs with the low pitch. As the building is square, and the sides are fairly long, I will have it divided onto two pages. Actually, one page printed twice. On terracotta roofs, there is a line of tiles that goes over the edges and along the crown. I am trying to work out a way to have this without having to do overlaying strips. On the other hand, monstersbtm mentioned altanes/altana, the Venetian answer to a rooftop garden. A steeper roof would make having an altana more reasonable. But with a steeper roof, I will only be able to fit one roof face per page, so the roof would be four pages. Some of the altana parts could fit in the extra space. Since I still haven't replaced my printer, I have time to work it out. Nah, I don't disagree. Only make things fold flat if it makes sense. My recent youtube video showed that it's possible to go too far that way... youtu.be/Zvl7lQdRCvsKeep it simple.

They are really not that bad Antohammer. To be fair though I do make cutfiles for them (I don't think I would have made most of them without cutfiles). The patience mainly lies in waiting for glue to dry before moving on to the next step. Did you/will you share the cutfile/link here?

I know it's extra work, but I'd be interested in building split based horses if they had legs in more than two positions. Perhaps looking like they were in motion...

My birthday was motivation to break out of my Covid slump: I built papercraft bunkbeds by Paper Realms available for $1.50 on DriveThruRPG.com. www.drivethrurpg.com/product/332219Photoshopped colors a bit to get more unique blankets, but otherwise this is a stock build.
